The release date for the highly anticipated movie Bullet Train has been announced!

The star-studded movie is led by Brad Pitt and Joey King and is directed by David Leitch.

The film is based on the Japanese novel “Maria Beetle” and here is the synopsis, via Deadline: “Five assassins find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”

Also starring in the movie are Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Logan Lerman, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Bad Bunny, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Sandra Bullock.

Hulu has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming series Nine Perfect Strangers and a star-studded cast is appearing in the new show!

The new series is a must-watch for fans of Big Little Lies as it’s based on the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote the “Big Little Lies” novel.

David E. Kelley, who wrote and created Big Little Lies, is also the co-writer of Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidman returning to star in and executive produce the new series as well.

Also featured in the star-studded cast are Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Hulu has released the star-studded trailer for their upcoming limited series!

During the 2021 Oscars, the streaming service dropped the trailer for Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

The series is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s latest book.

Here’s a plot summary via Deadline: “The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Hulu hasn’t announced the release date for Nine Perfect Strangers yet.

Christian Bale and Margot Robbie will be starring in an upcoming movie from five-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker David O. Russell and now 12 exciting stars have joined the cast as well.

This will be Russell‘s first movie since his 2015 film Joy, which earned Jennifer Lawrence an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. He is also known for his movies Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and The Fighter.

Not much is known yet about the upcoming movie, except for its star-studded cast. Deadline reports that the film is “based on an original idea” from the filmmaker and production has already began in California.

The 2021 Gotham Awards took place on Monday night (January 11) and there was an in-person ceremony that had some celebrity attendees.

While most of the stars appeared at the awards show virtually, a handful of stars walked the red carpet and presented on stage at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The stars in attendance included Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer, Hamilton‘s Renee Elise Goldsberry, Palm Springs‘ Cristin Milioti, Oscar nominee Michael Shannon, The Undoing‘s Noma Dumezweni, Moonlight‘s Andre Holland, and Top Chef‘s Padma Lakshmi.

Michael Shannon has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming movie Bullet Train!

It has been announced that the 46-year-old two-time Oscar nominee will be joining the new assassin movie starring Brad Pitt, THR has confirmed.

David Leitch, who directed Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2, will be directing the action thriller that also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz and Andrew Koji.

The film is based on the Japanese novel “Maria Beetle” and here is the synopsis, via Deadline: “Five assassins find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between.
