Michael Bloomberg Drops Out of Presidential Race, Endorses Joe Biden

Mike Bloomberg is officially ending his race for President, and in a statement, he has endorsed Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee.

“I’ve always believed that defeating Donald Trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it. After yesterday’s vote, it is clear that candidate is my friend and a great American, Joe Biden,” he said in a statement.

Bloomberg is the third former presidential candidate for the democratic ticket to now endorse Biden after Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg.

Bernie Sanders is also still in the race. Currently, Biden has 453 delegates and Sanders has 382 delegates.

Clint Eastwood, a Former Trump Voter, Endorses Bloomberg for President

Clint Eastwood has revealed that he no longer is a supporter of Donald Trump after voting for him in the 2016 presidential election.

The 89-year-old actor and director, who also supported Mitt Romney during the 2012 election, is now endorsing Michael Bloomberg for president.

“The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there,” he said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

Eastwood says that he approves of “certain things” that Trump has done as president, but he would have liked to see him do it “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names. I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level.”

Clint has said that he voted for Trump because he feared Hillary Clinton would “follow in Obama’s footsteps… There’s been just too much funny business on both sides of the aisle. She’s made a lot of dough out of being a politician. I gave up dough to be a politician. I’m sure that Ronald Reagan gave up dough to be a politician.”

In the past, Clint was elected mayor of the wealthy California town Carmel-by-the-Sea and served a two-year term from 1986 to 1988.
