Kit Harington, Whoopi Goldberg, & More Attend Tribeca Film Festival 2021 Welcome Lunch!

Kit Harington is helping kick off the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival!

The 34-year-old actor stepped out for the Welcome Lunch for this year’s film festival hosted by co-chair Robert De Niro on Wednesday afternoon (June 9) at Pier 76 in New York City.

Other stars in attendance included Whoopi Goldberg, Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria, comedian Tig Notaro, The Hangover actor Justin Bartha, Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston, You actress Hari Nef, Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs, Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal star Matthew Modine, and Mad About You actor Richard Kind.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was also in attendance.

The 2021 Tribeca Festival is running this year from June 9 through June 20.

Allison Janney & Mila Kunis' New Movie 'Breaking News in Yuba County' Debuts Trailer - Watch Now!

The trailer for the upcoming movie Breaking News in Yuba County has been released!

The star-studded film is going to be released in select theaters and on digital on February 12.

Here is the synopsis: “After her husband goes missing, Sue Buttons (Allison Janney), an underappreciated suburban wife, gets a taste of being a local celebrity as she embarks on a search to find him. She quickly finds herself in over her head, dodging cops, criminals and local reporters all aiming to uncover the truth. After being overlooked for so long, Sue goes to exaggerated lengths to prolong her ’15 minutes of fame’ and keep the truth from coming out.”

Also starring in the movie, directed by Tate Taylor, are Mila Kunis, Awkwafina, Regina Hall, Wanda Sykes, Matthew Modine, Ellen Barkin, Juliette Lewis, Samira Wiley, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins Jr., Bridget Everett, Dominic Burgess, Keong Sim, and Chris Lowell.

Matthew Modine Reveals How He's Gotten Out of 'A Hundred' Speeding Tickets

Matthew Modine can thank one of his biggest movies for getting him out of trouble with police!

While promoting his new movie Foster Boy, the 61-year-old actor revealed to Page Six that his movie Full Metal Jacket has gotten him out of “a hundred” speeding tickets.

If you didn’t know, Matthew played Private Joker in the 1987 classic film directed by Stanley Kubrick.

Matthew insists that his speeding days are over, but admitted that anyone who has been through any kind of boot camp – like police officers – always recognize him and are happy to give him a pass without a ticket.

Earlier this year, Matthew Modine made an appearance in this band’s music video!

Jonas Brothers' New 'What A Man Gotta Do' Video Pays Homage to Classic Movies - Plus Their Wives Appear!

The Jonas Brothers have dropped the music video for their brand new song “What A Man Gotta Do” and it features all of the guys’ wives!

The video pays homage to some of the group’s favorite classic movies with each couple recreating a love story from the films.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra appear in an homage to Risky Business, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner recreate scenes from Grease, and Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle take on the movie Say Anything. Throughout the video, all three guys strip down to their underwear and actor Matthew Modine also makes a cameo.

The JoBros dropped their comeback album Happiness Begins back in June 2019 and they’ll be going back on the road at the end of the month for the final leg on their tour.

Based on a true story, the film stars Uzo as an impoverished single mother who is losing her fifteen year-old son to the rough streets of Washington D.C. Unwilling to see him drop out and deal drugs, she places him in a private school. But when she can’t afford tuition, she launches a movement to change the system that is destroying him and thousands like him. Attacked and threatened by those who don’t want change –from corrupt politicians to the local drug lord, Virginia must discover depths of strength she never knew she had.

The movie also stars Matthew Modine, Aunjanue Ellis, and Niles Fitch. It will be released in theaters and on demand / Digital HD on October 18.

Winona Ryder shares a cute moment on the red carpet with her on-screen son Noah Schnapp at the premiere of Stranger Things season two on Thursday (October 26) at the Regency Bruin Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

The Emmy-nominated actress was joined at the event by her fellow adult stars of the show, Matthew Modine, Cara Buono, Paul Reiser, and Linnea Berthelson.
