Uzo Aduba and Matthew Broderick are teaming up for a new Netflix series.
The 40-year-old three-time Emmy winning actress and the 59-year-old two-time Tony winning actor have signed on to star in the upcoming Netflix series Painkiller, Variety reports.

Matthew Broderick has revealed that he almost didn’t star in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The 58-year-old actor shared the tidbit during an interview with Sirius XM’s Quarantined with Bruce Bozzi and said his main reason for the hesitance was because he thought the film would stereotype him as the actor who talks to the camera.
“I thought [the script] was great, and I had a teeny hesitation because having just done [the plays] ‘Brighton Beach [Memoirs]’ and ‘Biloxi [Blues],’” Matthew shared. “I was like, ‘Wow, I’m talking to the audience, just like in these plays… and even in [the 1985 movie] Ladyhawke he talks to the camera a bit. … You know, when you’re young or starting out you think, ‘I have to do something different.’”
While Matthew did question saying yes for the role, everyone else urged him to take it, as it was a John Hughes film.
“My memory is, before I had hung up the phone, he was like behind me in the room, saying, ‘Yes, you should do it.’” Matthew recalled of his agent’s insistence. “He flew to New York. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow. Let’s just not talk about it anymore now, I’ll see you tomorrow,’ and he came and was suddenly in the room with me, saying, ‘Yeah, I do think you should do it.’”
Obviously, the move was a good one, as the film is a now a classic.

The 58-year-old actor got candid about his over two decade-long marriage to Sarah Jessica Parker during an interview on Quarantined with Bruce on Radio Andy with SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi.
During the chat, he was asked about any tips or secrets to his 23-year marriage.
“I don’t know. I keep reading communication and she’s my best friend. Uh, any cliché you want? I don’t know the, the, the secret at all, but I, you know, but I’m very grateful and I love her and, it’s amazing,” he said.
“I mean, I can’t believe that it’s been that long. It doesn’t feel like it. And, uh, I can’t believe my son’s 18. I know. And, you know, speaking of how talented my wife is, I should also say that getting to do this play, even though we only just did it in Boston for a little while, Plaza Suite, you know, she was so, so good in it. And I hadn’t really, had never acted with her onstage and had never really acted with her at all. And I was just reminded of how funny and smart and know what a great comic actor she is, or actor never mind the comic part. But, she just, she’s very good at it. So it’s, I hope everybody gets to see her do it.”

On October 28, James Wilke celebrated his 18th birthday, meaning this is his first time voting in a general election! Based on the family’s clothing, it appears as if they’re voting Biden/Harris!

The 55-year-old Sex and the City actress was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick, 58, while checking out some properties in Manhattan. Perhaps she’s looking for the new location for another SJP Collection shoe store?
If you didn’t know, SJP already has two locations in the Big Apple and she’s been working at them all summer long throughout the pandemic.
SJP and Matthew were supposed to be on Broadway this year in the play Plaza Suite, but they never even got to perform because of the pandemic. The show has now been postponed to 2021 and hopefully the world will be ready for live theater by spring 2021!
