Lily Collins‘ next project will be on Netflix!

It was revealed today that Windfall, which was directed by her fiancé, Charlie McDowell, has been acquired by the streaming service, “in a major 8-figure dollar deal.”

According to Deadline, the modern-day noir movie will also star Jason Segel and Jesse Plemons, and wrapped up production earlier this year.

Jason and Charlie developed the story, with Justin Lader and Andrew Kevin Walker penning the script.

The film is described as a Hitchcockian thriller following a young couple who arrive at their vacation home only to find it’s being robbed.

“I’m so excited to finally be able to talk about a film that I had the privilege of making a few months ago with @charliemcdowell #JasonSegel and #JessePlemmons,” Lily wrote on Instagram, following the announcement. “I’ve never been part of something so intimate, collaborative and freeing.”

She added, “Windfall was imagined, created, and finished during quarantine and I couldn’t be prouder of our incredible crew for all the countless hours of hard work, safety and determination to make this labor of love a reality.”

Emily in Paris has a few changes coming for season two and the scoop was just revealed!

Three new actors are joining the second season of Netflix’s hit show, starring Lily Collins, and another star has been upped to a series regular.

If you don’t know, season two started filming a few weeks ago. There is currently no release date, but we’re hoping to see it soon!

The second season of Emily in Paris is currently being filmed and we have some great new photos from set!

Lily Collins and Lucas Bravo were seen getting caught in the rain while filming a scene on Wednesday (May 19) in Paris, France.

You might remember that at the end of season one, Lucas‘ character Gabriel had plans to move to Normandy, but then his Paris restaurant gets a financier and he’s able to stay in town. There’s still a love triangle brewing between Emily, Lucas, and Camille!

It looks like Emily and Gabriel definitely still have their chemistry based on these season two photos.

Lily Collins is hitting the streets of Paris!

The 32-year-old Golden Globe nominated actress was spotted shooting scenes for the upcoming season of Emily in Paris at Gare de l’Est train station on Tuesday (May 18) in Paris, France.

Lily wore a fun patterned coat with white fingerless gloves, pairing the look with a silk scarf and yellow leather belt.

A day later she was seen filming a different scene for the show in a pink athletic jacket, white t-shirt and black leggings.

Series creator Darren Star recently revealed what fans can look forward to for season two and shared that Emily would be “more assimilated, in terms of living in Paris and stepping up to the challenges of learning the language.”

Lily Collins looks so chic on the set of Emily in Paris season 2!

The 32-year-old Golden Globe nominated actress was spotted shooting scenes for the upcoming season of her hit Netflix show on Monday (May 17) in Paris, France.

Lily wore a bright green coat, magenta sweater and green houndstooth skirt for her scenes alongside her co-star Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu.

When she wrapped shooting, Lily made sure to stay warm in a navy puffer jacket and UGG boots.

Netflix announced that production had started for the second season earlier this month and revealed how many people who had tuned in for the first season. According to the streamer, 58 million people watched the show, making it Netflix’s most popular comedy in 2020.

Lily was recently seen filming for the show and she made three costume changes during the shoot!

Lily Collins looks surprised by something while shooting new scenes for Emily in Paris‘s second season in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France, on Tuesday afternoon (May 4).

The 32-year-old actress was spotted wearing a cute checkered bucket hat with a tiered floral dress as she chatted with a co-star about the wine selection at the small cafe they were filming at.

Later on in the afternoon, Lily was seen in a blueish purple ruffled dress with a weaved orange purse.

In a recent interview, series creator Darren Star opened up about what fans can expect for season two and it involves Emily not getting a pass with French culture.

“Emily will embrace the city a little bit more,” Darren said. “When she got there, she got a bit of a free pass in the beginning and I don’t think it will be quite as easy for her in second season.”

He adds that Emily could be “more assimilated, in terms of living in Paris and stepping up to the challenges of learning the language.”

As far as romance, Darren said to expect many “unexpected storylines”: “There was a twist a the end of the first season that she did not see coming, and I think there’s a lot of fallout that happens from the that in the new season.”
