Lil Nas X is poking fun at the trial that almost happened in the teaser trailer for his upcoming single, “Industry Baby”.

The 22-year-old rapper plays just about everyone – from the defense lawyer to the judge – in the sneak peek of the new track and video.

The teaser parodies a trial regarding his limited edition Satan Shoes, which was in collaboration with MSCHF.

The shoes were inspired by his hit song and video, “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”, which were repurposed pairs of Nike Air Max 97s.

Just moments after the drop of the video and announcement of the shoes, Nike sued MSCHF for the “unauthorized Satan Shoes” that were “likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erroneous association between MSCHF’s products and Nike.”

Nike and MSCHF quickly settled the lawsuit.

Lil Nas X‘s “Industry Baby” will be out on Friday, July 23.

John Mayer brought together all of his celebrity friends for his “Sob Rock” Listening Party held at San Vicente Bungalows on Thursday night (July 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 43-year-old musician hosted Dave Chappelle, Kiernan Shipka, Lil Nas X, and couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello for the listening event.

Following the release of John‘s new album, he also announced a tour in support of the record.

The upcoming concerts will kick off on February 17, 2022 at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, and wrap in April in Chicago.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale next Friday, July 23 on his official website.

In addition to tickets, a limited number of VIP packages will also be available starting next week, and John also has plans to auction off two pairs of front row tickets for each show with proceeds benefiting the Back to You Fund.

The 62-year-old “Express Yourself” pop icon posted a picture from the 22-year-old “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” superstar’s hot 2021 BET Awards performance, during which kissed a fellow male dancer on stage, to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (June 29).

Lil Nas X is hitting back at a commenter.

In case you missed it, the 22-year-old rapper performed his song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” during the 2021 BET Awards on Sunday night (June 27).

Lil Nas X dressed as a pharaoh for the show, showing off his six-pack in a gold outfit with matching knee-high boots. During the show, he also shared a steamy kiss with one of his male dancers!

The kiss won him a standing ovation from members of the audience, but some on social media took issue with his performance.

Lil Nas X is pulling a costume change on the 2021 BET Awards red carpet!

The 22-year-old “Old Town Road” rapper first walked the red carpet in a pink and blue dress, before changing into a floral-print suit for his second trip down the carpet on Sunday (June 27) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

While not nominated at the show tonight, Lil Nas X will be performing his hit song, “Call Me By Your Name (Montero)” during the show.

The 2021 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, are airing RIGHT NOW on BET.

Lil Nas X takes over the red carpet in a toile dress!

The 22-year-old musician wowed in a full gown as he arrived at the 2021 BET Awards held at Microsoft Theater on Sunday (June 27) in Los Angeles.

While not nominated at the show tonight, Lil Nas X will be performing his hit song, “Call Me By Your Name (Montero)” during the show tonight.

Just recently in a new interview, he opened up about the backlash the song got that he wasn’t expecting.

“I definitely didn’t expect the outrage as much as it was at all, especially governors tweeting me. Like, ‘You’re a governor. You don’t have anything better to do?’” he said.

The 2021 BET Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, will air tonight on BET @ 8/7c.
