Lauren Alaina has revealed that she has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 26-year-old country singer took to her Twitter on Saturday (March 20) to share a statement announcing that she has to cancel a concert appearance after receiving her positive test results.

“I am so sad to say I will not be at the acoustic show in Lexington, Kentucky tonight,” Lauren started. “I tested positive for COVID yesterday. I am quarantining and trying to get better!”

“Please know I can’t wait to be back – when it is safe for all of us,” Lauren continued. “I am so disappointed I won’t be at the show, but it may help cheer me up a bit if you go and send me videos and pictures.”

After sharing the statement on Twitter, Lauren posted a video on her Instagram Story to share some of symptoms.

“I am resting up and trying to feel a bit better,” Lauren said while curled up on her couch with her dog. “Some people have it way worse than me — I just have a little bit of shortness of breath, a really bad headache, no taste or smell, pretty bad congestion and I feel pretty tired.”

Not all of the stars appeared live on Thanksgiving Day and some of them had pre-taped segments, which were filmed on 34th Street in front of the Macy’s flagship store.

Other celebs in attendance at the parade included Karol G, Keke Palmer, Sofia Carson, Ally Brooke, Brett Young, Lauren Alaina, CNCO, Patti LaBelle, Jimmy Fallon, and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Tenille was nominated for Musical Event of the Year alongside Ashley for their participation in the “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” performance.

The 25-year-old country singer kicked up her boots for a fun freestyle with partner Gleb Savchenko, which earned her a perfect 30 – her first perfect score of the season!

Earlier in the night, Lauren recreated her Foxtrot from a former episode and she earned 27 out of 30 points for that dance.

Lauren Alaina is currently killing it on Dancing with the Stars and she’s revealing that she’s been losing weight as a result of her hard work.

“I’ve lost like 25 pounds! Since July,” Lauren told reporters after her performance on Monday (October 22). “None of my clothes fit.”

Lauren‘s partner Gleb Savchenko then interjected and said, “You’re welcome.”
