Laura Dern and daughter Jaya Harper took a break from shelter at home to walk their dogs at a local park in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 21).

The mother and daughter duo enjoyed the fresh air with their canine companions before heading back home during the shelter in place order in California.

Laura even starred in two of Jaya‘s newest TikTok videos.

“Because we are quarantined the only person I have to make this tik tok with is my mom,” Jaya shared with the first one.

The 53-year-old recent Oscar winner bundled up in a long black coat while she stocked up on some necessities during this time of social distancing.

A ton of celebrities at the 2020 Oscars got a fun surprise on the red carpet, all thanks to breakout Cheer star Jerry Harris!

Jerry, one of the fan-favorite cheerleaders from the hit Netflix docuseries, covered the press line for The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Sunday night (February 9) and met the likes of Marriage Story‘s Laura Dern, Little Women‘s Greta Gerwig, Richard Jewell‘s Kathy Bates, Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Bad Guy” hit-maker Billie Eilish, and Frozen‘s Idina Menzel, all of whom recognized him the moment they laid eyes on him.

“Jerry! This is what I wanna say to you,” Oscar winner of the night Laura Dern said. “You’ve got this! You can do this, Jerry! My daughter was giving me some mat talk as I was arriving in the car, and we love you and we love your big, beautiful heart.”

Little Women director Greta Gerwig totally freaked out and confessed she watched Cheer every night when she’s pumping breast milk. “I feel like I manifested you somehow,” she told Jerry Harris, who had to be told what she meant by “pumping.”

The 53-year-old Oscar winning actress wore the Armani Privé dress for the third time at the event.

The first time Laura wore the dress was back in 1993, and again in 2013 for Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, and it still looks amazing on her!

After celebrating her win at the party, Laura headed to the Montage Hotel to celebrate her first Oscar with her friends on Monday (February 10) in Los Angeles.
