Laura Dern went all out for her fun look at the 2021 Academy Awards!
The 54-year-old actress chose an Oscar de la Renta look for the ceremony held on Sunday (April 25) at Union Station in Los Angeles.
As last year’s Best Supporting Actress winner, Laura is expected to be presenting the honor for Best Supporting Actor.
Sacha Baron Cohen, Daniel Kaluuya, Leslie Odom Jr., Paul Raci and Lakeith Stanfield are all up for the honor this year.

Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern are teaming up for a new movie!
The two actors have signed on to star in the The Son, which is the follow-up to writer-director Florian Zeller’s Oscar-nominated movie The Father, Deadline reports.
Here’s the synopsis: “Adapted by Zeller and Oscar-winner Christopher Hampton, from Zeller’s acclaimed stage play, The Son focuses on Peter (Jackman) as his busy life with new partner Emma and their baby is thrown into disarray when his ex-wife Kate (Dern) turns up with their teenage son, Nicholas. The young man is is troubled, distant and angry, playing truant from school for months. Peter strives to be a better father, searching to help his son with those intimate and instinctive moments of family happiness. But the weight of Nicholas’ condition sets the family on a dangerous course.”
The Father, which was released in 2020, stars Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman. It has been nominated for six awards at the upcoming 2021 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.

The amazing actress got to present the first award of the night to Daniel Kaluuya! If you missed it, Daniel almost missed his big acceptance speech moment for a huge streaming fail.
After presenting the award, Laura recorded a video from outside of the Golden Globes. You may have noticed, the Globes look a lot different this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic! The show is taking place live from two separate coasts, and the celebrities cannot gather together.
Laura revealed that she was inside for about seven minutes – a huge difference between previous Golden Globes where presenters obviously stayed at the show for the duration.

Daniel Kaluuya won a Golden Globe for his work in Judas and the Black Messiah, but he almost suffered a major devastating moment after receiving the first award of the night.
As Laura Dern presented him with the award, the camera cut to him to make his acceptance speech.
Shortly after that happened, it appeared as if Daniel was freezing up and talking but there was absolutely no sound. Well, it was a major technical difficulty. The camera cut back to Laura, and it appeared as if he wouldn’t be giving his acceptance speech for his amazing performance!

Laura Dern is getting some love on her 54th birthday!
Reese Witherspoon stopped by her pal Laura‘s house for a visit on her birthday on Wednesday afternoon (February 10) in Los Angeles.

If you forgot, Laura and the 44-year-old actress starred together on HBO’s hit series Big Little Lies.
A few hours later, Laura was spotted heading out on a walk around the neighborhood with her dogs.
Along with her visit, Reese also took to social media to share a sweet post in honor of Laura‘s birthday.
“Time to celebrate this queen @LauraDern! Happy Birthday to my bonus sister / my comedy inspiration / my empathy guide for the universe / my partner in all big schemes. I’m so happy you were born today! 💫💓” Reese tweeted along with a few photos of Laura.

Nicole Kidman opened up about the possibility of Season 3 with Marie Claire Australia.

During the interview, Nicole revealed that the team behind the HBO series is considering a potential third season, although a formal season order has not yet been announced following the Season 2 finale in July of 2019.
The show, which also stars Reese Witherspoon, Zoë Kravitz, Shailene Woodley and Laura Dern, is based on the 2014 novel by Liane Moriarty.
“Reese and I talk or text once a week. She’s just moved back to Nashville and we’re really close. We all just want to work together again. I texted Zoë and Laura, and they’re in. David and Liane have a really good idea for it. Watch this space!” she teased.
