Janelle Monae and Lana Del Rey have decided to pull out of the 2021 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
On Thursday (July 8), the music festival took to Instagram announce that the two musicians, along with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, had decided to drop out of the festival. The festival also did announce who will be replacing them in the lineup.

Lana Del Rey is back with a trio of songs!
The 35-year-old Chemtrails Over the Country Club singer-songwriter released three new songs on Thursday (May 20) ahead of the release of her forthcoming eighth studio album.

The songs, called “Blue Banisters,” “Text Book” and “Wildflower Wildfire,” were released as buzz tracks in anticipation of the upcoming record.

The 2021 Bonnaroo Music Festival is happening!
After being canceled last year amid the pandemic, the music and arts festival is returning in 2021 with some huge names at the event, which is held between September 2 to September 5 in Manchester, Tenn.
Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Tyler The Creator, Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion and Lana Del Rey are among the big names headlining this year.
Other major acts include Lil Baby, Run The Jewels, Janelle Monáe, Phoebe Bridgers, deadmau5, G-Eazy, Jack Harlow, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and Brittany Howard.

Lana Del Rey is trying out different genres.
The 35-year-old Chemtrails Over the Country Club singer-songwriter revealed in an interview for MOJO‘s April 2021 issue that she’s recorded a country music covers project.

“I went back and listened to ‘Ride’ and ‘Video Games’ and thought, ‘You know, they’re kind of country. I mean, they’re definitely not pop. Maybe the way ‘Video Games’ got remastered, they’re pop—but there’s something Americana about it for sure. So let’s see how these things come out—I’m not going to have pedal steel guitar on every single thing, but it is easy for me to write,” she said of country music, via CMT.
She also said she has another album of “other folk songs” in the works.
Lana‘s new album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, arrives on Friday (March 19).
Lana and her rumored fiance shared a rare PDA moment on social media recently.
Lana Del Rey and Clayton Johnson are now an Instagram official couple!
The 35-year-old singer is rumored to be engaged to Clayton, though neither of them have confirmed the news yet.
Clayton took to his social media page on Thursday (February 4) to share a photo of him and Lana packing on the PDA to celebrate his birthday.
“Happy birthday to me,” he captioned the photo.
The rumors of the engagement started swirling after Lana‘s performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in December. During the performance, Lana got fans buzzing on social media when they noticed a big ring on a special finger on her hand. The news of the engagement was confirmed by outlets like People and Us Weekly.
