Macauley Culkin's Brother, Kieran Culkin, Didn't Know 'Home Alone' Was About Kevin

Kieran Culkin might have appeared in Home Alone with big brother, Macauley, but he really didn’t know that it was about Macauley‘s character, Kevin McAllister at all.

The 37-year-old Succession actor chatted with James Corden on The Late Late Show this week and opened up about the iconic early 90s movie.

“I didn’t even know what the movie was about when we were doing it, so it was a fresh, brand-new movie when I saw it,” Kieran confessed.

He added, “There’s a part in the movie where there’s a kid who gets his head counted incorrectly and he goes, ‘Bye, bring me back something French!’ I thought the movie was about that kid.”

“It made sense when I saw it,” Kieran insisted. “I remember seeing it in the theater at the premiere and I was dying laughing and I was like, ‘Oh, that makes sense ’cause Mac was on set all the time.’”

Kieran appeared as Fuller in the movies, Kevin’s bed-wetting cousin.

If you missed it, Macauley celebrated his 40th birthday earlier this week and trolled his fans about it. See what he did here…

The Cast of 'Succession' Is Getting Big Pay Raises for Season 3

Succession will be returning for a third season on HBO and the cast is going to be making a lot more money for their work!

THR reports that the seven main stars of the series are getting pay raises for the third season.

Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfayden, and Nicholas Braun will all be making around $300,000 to $350,000 per episode. Brian Cox, who won a Golden Globe earlier this year for his performance as patriarch Logan Roy, will be making more than the rest of the cast.

It is being reported that most of the cast was earning below $100,000 per episode for the first two seasons. It’s very common in Hollywood for the casts of successful series to renegotiate their pay after two seasons.

The first two seasons of Succession are currently streaming on HBO Go and they’ll be available on the upcoming streaming service HBO Max as well.
