Khalid is staying true to his word and holding a concert to benefit the community of El Paso, Texas following the horrific mass shooting in early August.

The 21-year-old “Love Lies” singer revealed he will headline a benefit concert alongside special guests at the Don Haskins Center on September 1 in El Paso, Texas.

The funds raised through the concert will go to the El Paso Shooting Victims’ Fund and the El Paso Community Foundation.

Tickets will go on-sale beginning on Wednesday (August 14) at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.

“I have been rocked to the core by the horrific act of gun violence that came to El Paso, and by the continued acts of senseless violence that our country faces daily. I want to give back to my community of El Paso, the city of the 915, who has given so much to me. Please come out and let’s heal together through music while raising money to help those who need it,” says Khalid.

Donations can also be made at TheGreatKhalidFoundation.org, as well as purchasing commemorative shirts at KhalidOfficial.com.

Khalid is planning a concert for the families of the victims of the mass shooting in his hometown of El Paso, Texas.

The 21-year-old singer revealed his plans on Monday (August 5) in the wake of the horrific event.

“Over the past few days, my mind and heart have been heavy. Hearing/seeing an act of terrorism happen so close to home, my family, and my friends has been unbelievable and shocking. Singing ’915′ and ‘city of El Paso’ on tour every night feels indescribable,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Over the past few days, I’ve been thinking of ways to help out and support the city. I’m planning for a benefit concert later this month, all of the proceeds will go to the families affected by the shooting. Sending everyone my love and will keep you guys updated,” he added.

Ed Sheeran just dropped his new music video for “Beautiful People,” his collaboration with Khalid!

The duo are featured in the vid which follows an average couple who are whisked away from their local airport and taken on an incredible journey.

The couple ends up at lavish mansion parties, on yachts and front row at fashion shows but don’t ever quite fit in.

Despite the incredible situation, the couple chose to go back to their normal life.

Ed Sheeran and Khalid have teamed up for a new song!

The 28-year-old “Perfect” singer and the 21-year-old “Young Dumb & Broke” performer just released their new song “Beautiful People.”

“Beautiful People” is the latest single off Ed‘s upcoming No. 6 Collaborations album, which he will releasing on July 12.

Just last week, Ed released the track list for the album and it features collabs with huge stars.

The series took to Twitter on Friday (May 17) to share the exciting news with fans.

Performers will include Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie, the Jonas Brothers, BTS, Halsey, Khalid, OneRepublic, and Hootie & the Blowfish.

Taylor and Brendon will perform their new song “ME!” and the JoBros will sing “Cool.”
