A new trailer for the upcoming Showtime series City On A Hill has debuted online and you can check it out here!

Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge star in the new show, which is set to premiere on June 16.

The series is set in early 1990s Boston, rife with violent criminals emboldened by local law enforcement agencies in which corruption and racism was the norm. In this fictional account, driving change is assistant district attorney Decourcy Ward (Hodge), who comes from Brooklyn and forms an unlikely alliance with a corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran, Jackie Rohr (Bacon). Together, they take on a family of armored car robbers from Charlestown in a case that grows to involve, and ultimately subvert, the entire criminal justice system of Boston.

The one-hour series will have 10 episodes for the first season.

The 60-year-old actor took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day to share a video of himself secretly serenading wife Kyra Sedgwick.

“OK, we don’t really do Valentine’s Day in my family so shhh don’t tell Kyra that I got her this little Valentine’s Day present,” Kevin whispers to the camera. “All right? Just keep it quiet, thanks!”

Kevin then began singing Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You” on a ukulele with his dog Lily laying by his side.

After Kevin posted the video, Kyra then commented on it writing, “Omgggggggg I love you.”

Kevin Bacon strikes a pose with his City on a Hill co-stars at the 2019 Winter TCA Tour!

The 60-year-old The Following actor discussed his crime thriller series during the Showtime portion of the event held on Thursday (January 31) in Pasadena, Calif.

He was joined by his castmates Jonathan Tucker, Amanda Clayton, Mark O’Brien, Aldis Hodge, and Lauren E. Banks, as well as Sarah Shahi.

“The thing I loved immediately from reading the pilot was Jackie’s voice, which was something I heard,” Kevin said about his character during the panel (via Deadline). “This world of ‘90s cops and robbers had a gritty vibe to me and was reminiscent of movies I loved in the ‘70s from [Martin] Scorsese and Sidney Lumet, and I felt there wasn’t much on TV in this pocket, there was nothing that felt like this.”

City on a Hill is set in Boston in the early ’90s when the city was rife with violent criminals emboldened by local law enforcement agencies, in which corruption and racism was the norm, until it all suddenly changed.

The 59-year-old Tremors star and the 65-year-old Taken actor hit the blue carpet and spoke on stage at the event held at The Ziegfeld Ballroom on Monday (May 21) in New York City.

They were also joined by Morgan Freeman, who said during his speech, “What is right is you, a beautiful miracle is what makes you who you are.”

The SeriousFun Children’s Network, founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, held the gala to benefit camps for kids with serious illness.

Jordan Peele hits the stage to receive the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Feature Film during the 2018 Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday night (February 3) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old director received the award from Get Out stars Bradley Whitford and Betty Gabriel.
