Blake Moynes was a surprise addition to Katie Thurston‘s season of The Bachelorette and they actually have some history.
Before he showed up as a contestant in the middle of the season, Blake had actually chatted with Katie via DMs on Instagram.
Now, Blake is opening up about what he actually said in those messages, which he sent after her first appearance on Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor earlier this year.

After the third rose ceremony of the season on The Bachelorette, we are down to the Top 15 contestants who will advance to the next week.
Connor B. and Tre both received roses on the group dates while Michael received a rose on the one-on-one date this past week.
There was a lot of drama surrounding a contestant named Thomas, who was accused of being on the show in hopes of being named the next Bachelor. After the accusations made their way to Katie, she had a conversation with him ahead of the cocktail party, which delayed the evening.
Blake Moynes, a contestant from the previous season of The Bachelorette, also showed up during the episode to say he wants a shot with Katie.

Last week’s episode of The Bachelorette did not finish a full cycle of the week, so we saw the rest of the drama unfold during the Monday night (June 28) episode.
During the previous episode, we saw Katie go on a group date and then a one-on-one date with Michael, who got a rose on the date. The beginning of this week’s episode showed what happened on the second group date of the week, which was filmed with some drama.
Katie was warned about Thomas’ intentions during that date and it put her in turmoil over what to do. Later on, co-host Tayshia Adams surprised the Bachelorette by telling her previous contestant Blake Moynes wanted a chance at love with her.
So, who was sent home?

Last week’s rose ceremony on The Bachelorette wasn’t shown since they ran out of time, so a bunch of contestants were eliminated right at the beginning of the night this week.
We already saw that Cody was eliminated during a date last week and then four more guys were cut during the rose ceremony, leaving us with a Top 18.
The four guys eliminated during the rose ceremony were Garrett, John, Karl, and Kyle.
Throughout the rest of the third episode, we saw Katie go on a group date and then a one-on-one date with Michael, who got a rose on the date. We’re still waiting to see the next group date and the next rose ceremony!

The season premiere of The Bachelorette just aired and there are 23 contestants moving forward to the next episode of the show.
The night began with Katie Thurston meeting 30 eligible bachelors and she eliminated seven of them at the end of the evening.
The guys range in age from 25 to 36 and for those of you who don’t know, Katie is 30-years-old.
In a recent interview, Katie talked about what it was like filming without host Chris Harrison.

The first episode of Katie Thurston‘s season of The Bachelorette just aired and seven guys were cut from the competition.
We were introduced to 30 contestants at the start of the episode, which is hostless this season due to the absence of Chris Harrison. There will be special guests guiding Katie throughout the season, starting with former Bachelorette stars Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe.
23 men received roses during the first night and seven of them were sent home at the end of the evening.
Katie made sure to tell the eliminated men that they simply weren’t right for her.
