Kathy Griffin Weighs In On Former Neighbors Kim Kardashian & Kanye West's Reported Split

Kathy Griffin is the first famous friend to address reports of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s split.

If you didn’t know, the 60-year-old comedian used to live next to the 40-year-old makeup mogul and the 43-year-old rapper. She is also close friends with Kris Jenner.

After it was reported that Kim and Kanye were heading for a divorce, Kathy took to Twitter to address the situation.

“I think she really tried. Truly loves him. I like her,” Kathy tweeted. “He certainly isn’t the devil or anything, but I believe she tried everything to make it work. He made her laugh a lot and she embraced his eccentricities. She loves being a mom more than anything. There’s my two cents.”

While Kim hasn’t officially divorced Kanye yet, it has been reported that the two have been in marriage counseling for a while now.

Kathy Griffin Tweets 'It Wasn't Me' After Shooting at White House

There was reportedly a shooting outside of the White House on Monday afternoon (August 10) and moments after the news went public, Kathy Griffin chimed in to make sure people knew she wasn’t involved.

President Trump was in the middle of a press conference on Monday when he was escorted out by an official. He returned minutes later and reported that that there was a shooting just blocks from the White House.

“There was an actual shooting and somebody’s been taken to the hospital,” Trump told the press. “It was the suspect who was shot,” he said and he believes the suspect was armed.

Moments later, Kathy took to Twitter and tweeted, “It wasn’t me.”

You’re probably aware that Kathy has quite the history with the Trump family. Her entire life and career were overturned in 2017 when she posed for a photo while holding a Trump mask that was made to look like a bloody, severed head. She was fired from all of her gigs and lost all of her live performance dates, though she thankfully has made a comeback in the years since.

Kathy remains an outspoken critic of the Trump administration and a vocal advocate for freedom of speech rights.

Last months, Kathy called a talk show host a “POS” and revealed what he allegedly texted her when Joan Rivers died.

I’ve never spoken about this before, here we go…B) When my beloved Joan Rivers passed away, I was devastated. I still miss Joan every day as I know you guys do. She wasn’t just a mentor, she was a true and giving friend to me. Couple things about that awful week…” Kathy tweeted.

“C) That POS Andy Cohen texted me the day Joan died with something like “you should take over Fashion Police.” My friend Joan was a person, not a job opportunity. Around that time #CindyAdams ran some BS in Page Six saying…” Kathy tweeted.

Kathy used to work at Andy‘s Bravo network on her reality show My Life on the D-List, and she has continually spoken out about him over the years. Back in 2017, Andy actually told the press he didn’t know her.
