Judd Apatow is clearing the air about one of his beloved shows, Freaks and Geeks!

Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd that aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season, but it isn’t available for viewing on any streaming service.

It helped launch several of its actors’ careers, such as James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel and Busy Philipps.

Amy Kaufman, author of the New York Times best seller “Bachelor Nation,” took to Twitter to direct the question to Judd himself: “Is it actually possible that ‘Freaks & Geeks‘ is not streaming anywhere and is also not available for digital purchase anywhere??? @JuddApatow”

Judd responded on Twitter, revealing that the unavailability is due to music copyright: “The music needs to be cleared for Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. If it isn’t, your DVD will be all there is.”

Laura, 29, was joined at the event by her co-stars Maude Apatow, Jake Picking, Dylan McDermott, Michelle Krusiec, David Corenswet, Jeremy Pope and Mira Sorvino, as well as co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan.

Laverne, 47, was in attendance in support alongside Rumer Willis, Maude‘s father Judd Apatow, Harry Hamlin and his wife Lisa Rinna, Zelda Williams and Janet Mock, who introduced the first screening of Hollywood to the crowd.

Here’s a synopsis: “Hollywood follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood as they try to make it in Tinseltown — no matter the cost. Each character offers a unique glimpse behind the gilded curtain of Hollywood’s Golden Age, spotlighting the unfair systems and biases across race, gender and sexuality that continue to this day. Provocative and incisive, Hollywood exposes and examines decades-old power dynamics, and what the entertainment landscape might look like if they had been dismantled.”

Leslie Mann is radiant in a holographic dress while posing alongside her hubby Judd Apatow at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night (February 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 47-year-old actress and Judd, 52, were joined at the event by Megan Mullally and her husband Nick Offerman, as well as Better Call Saul‘s Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn, plus Derek Blasberg and Ronan Farrow.

Before attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Judd shared a hilarious picture of himself in a hoodie with his adorable pet cat in his pouch: “All dressed for the Oscars,” Judd captioned with the photo.

The 40-year-old actress will be attending the Oscars for the first time this year as her movie Ford v. Ferrari is up for Best Picture!

Sam Rockwell and Chrissy Metz appear on stage at the 2020 Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday (January 25) at the Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles.

Sam was at the event to honor his Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi, who was nominated for Best Director. Parasite‘s Bong Joon-ho received a tribute from the film’s star Lee Jeong-eun and The Irishman‘s Martin Scorsese (who did not attend) received a tribute from Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

Leonardo DiCaprio was at the event to honor Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Quentin Tarantino while Sam Mendes won the Best Director award for 1917.

Honey Boy director Alma Har’el went home with the First-Time Feature Film Director award, which was presented by Catherine Hardwicke.

Bill Hader won Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for his work on Barry.

Celebrities don’t often respond to news outlets when they’re asked to comment on a story or verify if a rumor is true, but Judd Apatow is breaking the mold.

Page Six reported that Judd and his wife Leslie Mann got into a “screaming fight” outside of the restaurant Katsuya on Monday night (October 14) in Los Angeles.

The source said that Leslie was “furiously yelling” at Judd, who was “trying to stay calm.” She then “slammed the door behind her” when she got into their car.

The outlet asked Judd for a comment… and he gave one!

“That was just the fight at Katsuya; you should have heard the rest of it at Pinkberry,” he jokingly responded.

Judd and Leslie have been married since 1997 and have worked together on movies like Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and This Is 40.

Jack Antonoff happily hits the carpet alongside his girlfriend Carlotta Kohl while attending the opening night of Jacqueline Novak: Get on Your Knees held at the Cherry Lane Theatre on Monday (July 22) in New York City.

The 35-year-old musician and model-photographer Carlotta made their official carpet debut at the event as they supported the star of the show Jacqueline Novak.
