JoJo is ushering in a new era of music following The Masked Singer season five finale.

If you didn’t see, the 30-year-old musician was one of the final three stars on the show and to celebrate her unmasking, she’s dropped a brand new single called “Creature of Habit”.

“‘Creature of Habit’ is about someone who feels addicted to the habit a relationship, even though they’re not truly happy in it,” JoJo explained of the track. “Having experienced my own cycles of habits allowed me to find aspects of myself in the lyrics.”

She added, “Walking away from what you’ve become so used to can be really daunting. Sometimes it just feels more comfortable to stay in the habit, rather than allowing yourself the discomfort of letting it go. Essentially, it’s the fear of the unknown that keeps us in the habit.”

The song was written by Justin Tranter and Sasha Sloan, and produced by Mano and Rissi. The music video for the track will debut tomorrow.

Sarah Hyland is the host of the new Ellen Original series Lady Parts and on the latest episode, she opened up about the age she lost her virginity. JustJared.com has the exclusive premiere of this clip before it premieres on EllenTube!

The 29-year-old Modern Family actress was joined by singer JoJo, YouTube star Simmi Singh, and OB/GYN to the stars Dr. Sherry Ross for the new episode.

The panel discussed when they lost their virginity, learning about self-pleasure and how to achieve an orgasm, and Simmi opened up about being raised in a household where sex is taboo.

“I’m lucky I think because I knew how to make myself orgasm around the time that I started having sex. I lost my virginity just before I was 15, so I was 14. I don’t know why I say that. I was 14,” JoJo said.

“I do the same thing. I lost my virginity at 15, but I always say, it was right before my 16th birthday,” Sarah added.

JoJo continued, “I had already been masturbating for quite a while at that point. That’s not to say that every partner got me off or anything, but I always knew what it could end in. I feel mad lucky.”

Simmi said she was 22 when she lost her virginity.

JoJo has released her new song “The Change,” which was recorded in support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris‘ 2020 presidential campaign.

With just 32 days to go until the November 3 election, the powerful song has been released to inspire people to vote.

The song was written by Grammy winner and 11-time Oscar nominee Diane Warren.

“Diane Warren is one of the most prolific songwriters of any generation, and over the years she has become a friend and mentor. When she sent me ‘The Change’ a few weeks ago, I felt passionately about being the voice to bring her song to life,” JoJo said in a statement. “I always try to use my voice for good, but it’s especially meaningful to be singing these words at a time when our country needs to hear them more than ever. For the song to be chosen by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as their ‘campaign anthem’ is an absolute honor. I hope it can help make a difference.”

JoJo and Demi Lovato have teamed up for a new song!

The two pop stars just released the remix for JoJo‘s song “Lonely Hearts.”

‘Cause you might abuse my trust (Oh) / Switch up and ghost on us / I cannot f–k me up like you,” JoJo and Demi sing together. “I’m insecure enough (Oh) / And I don’t need to be guessin’ if you care.”

JoJo originally released “Lonely Hearts” as part of her fourth studio album good to know, which she released back in May.

JoJo has revealed that she took Tory Lanez off of her upcoming deluxe album.

The 29-year-old singer revealed on Twitter that she took the 28-year-old rapper off of her album amid his shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion.

JoJo collaborated with Tory and 30 Roc for the track “Comeback” on her album, good to know. The standard version of the album was released in May, but JoJo told a fan that Tory will not be on the deluxe album, which will be released on August 28th.

“Def took him TF off,” JoJo responded to a fan.

The day before, JoJo showed her support for Megan, tweeting, “LOVE RESPECT AND PEACE AND PROTECTION TO @theestallion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Just a few days before, Megan confirmed that Tory was the one that shot her after an incident that occurred last month.

Tory was arrested on a gun charge after partying with Megan and she was hospitalized with gunshot wounds to her feet.

JoJo is opening up and recalling a time when she bonded with Taylor Swift over label troubles.

Speaking with People about her situation, the 29-year-old singer revealed that Taylor showed support for her a few years ago as she was going through legal battles of her own with her former music label.

If you are unfamiliar, JoJo‘s former label literally owned her voice and she was legally barred from releasing any music at all while under contract with them. Later on she sued, and finally in 2016, was let go from the contract.

“She was just like, ‘I can’t believe everything you’re going through. This is so f—ed up, so wrong, blah, blah, blah,’” JoJo recalled of her hangout with Taylor, which was with mutual friends. “And of course, she couldn’t have ever known that she would go through something similar where her catalog was bought from her.”

JoJo did clarify that their situations are a bit different though: “I was literally being completely silenced. Taylor is in a different position in her career. I was really sidelined, and it was pretty hurtful. I don’t think that her career is suffering because of whatever happened. They’re still available on streaming services; that’s the difference.”

Taylor is going through her own battle with former label Big Machine Group head Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun, who now own her masters.

“I’m on the side of these women. But, at the end of the day, the situation between her and Scooter is vastly different than what I was going through with Blackground,” JoJo says. “To be honest, I don’t have any problem with Scooter Braun. I think he’s a really smart man — but it does suck to feel like you are not in control of your own s—.”

The 29-year-old singer has released her new album Good to Know.

“The project can be broken into three chapters,” JoJo said in a statement. “The first being: here’s what I do to numb myself. Get me out of my skin and let me be distracted with love, sex, substances. The middle part finds me realizing that I need to be on my own for the first time in my life to end patterns that aren’t serving me anymore. Toward the end, I knock on the door of self-love. Accepting where I’ve been and meeting myself where I’m at.”

The new album features such songs as “Man” and the new track “Comeback” featuring Tory Lanez and 30 Roc.
