John Mayer brought together all of his celebrity friends for his “Sob Rock” Listening Party held at San Vicente Bungalows on Thursday night (July 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 43-year-old musician hosted Dave Chappelle, Kiernan Shipka, Lil Nas X, and couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello for the listening event.

Following the release of John‘s new album, he also announced a tour in support of the record.

The upcoming concerts will kick off on February 17, 2022 at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, and wrap in April in Chicago.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale next Friday, July 23 on his official website.

In addition to tickets, a limited number of VIP packages will also be available starting next week, and John also has plans to auction off two pairs of front row tickets for each show with proceeds benefiting the Back to You Fund.

John Mayer is back with a new single and music video!

The 43-year-old musician released his latest single, titled “Last Train Home,” featuring Maren Morris.

“And if you wanna use me / Then you gotta use me till I’m gone / I’m not a fallen angel, I just fell behind,” John sings. “I’m out of luck and I’m out of time / If you don’t wanna love me, let me go / I’m runnin’ for the last train / I’m runnin’ for the last train home.”

“Last Train Home” is the first single off of John‘s upcoming eighth studio album, titled Sob Rock, which he will be releasing on July 16th.

Sob Rock will mark John’s first studio album since releasing The Search for Everything back in 2017.

For his outing, John looked cool in an unbuttoned blue shirt over a white T-shirt paired with jeans while sporting sunglasses and an olive-colored face mask.

Earlier this month, John sparked romance rumors with this actress after they were spotted grabbing dinner together. He then also wished her a happy birthday in a very public way.

John Mayer is stirring up more romance rumors with Cazzie David with the sweet birthday post her put up on Instagram.

The 43-year-old singer was spotted out for dinner with Cazzie earlier this month and fans immediately started to wonder about their relationship status.

For those who don’t know, Cazzie is the daughter of Larry David and she was previously in a relationship with Pete Davidson. She is a best-selling author and has appeared as an actress on Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy.

The 43-year-old “Your Body Is a Wonderland” singer and the 26-year-old Umbrella Academy actress and daughter of Larry David were spotted dining at Katsuya on Saturday night (May 1) in Studio City, Calif.

The two friends looked like they were having a good time together, enjoying their meal outside in a tent. John wore ripped jeans and a leather jacket for the outing, while Cazzie rocked a black leather jacket and jeans, paired with a blue face mask.

It looks like John Mayer will soon be hosting his own late-night talk show!

The 43-year-old entertainer is nearing a new deal with Paramount+ to host a late-night talk and performance show, Variety reports.

Titled Later With John Mayer, the show is being pitched as “a series featuring performance segments as well as interviews with musicians, artists and other cultural figures in a setting designed to look like an after-hours club for musicians.”

The show is based on the same format as BBC’s long-running late-night talk show Later with Jolls Holland.

Later With John Mayer would run as a weekly show on the streaming service. The plan is also to have specials from John‘s show air periodically on CBS.

As of right now, John hasn’t commented on his potential late-night talk show.

Jessica Simpson is looking back at her relationship with John Mayer.

In an interview on Tamron Hall‘s talk show airing on Friday (March 26), the 40-year-old singer and fashion designer was asked if she included details about her toxic relationship with the 43-year-old musician in her memoir Open Book because she wants an apology from him.

“No, I definitely don’t feel that I am owed a public apology,” Jessica said. “I mean, you can’t take it back. And I’m a very forgiving person but I’m also honest. So, in the memoir, if I’m gonna talk about stuff that caused me pain, I’m going to be honest about it. And that was a time in my life that I was very manipulated and also in love, or seemingly.”

In her memoir, Jessica opened up about her 2006 relationship with John, saying that he once told her he was “obsessed with me, sexually and emotionally.” She also shared her thoughts on him publicly saying that she was like “sexual napalm.”

Jessica also pointed out to Tamron that John “might not be sorry” for their relationship, and that’s fine with her.

“We were kinda like on-off, on-off at that time,” Jessica said. “But to talk about anybody sexually is kind of disrespectful, but that’s on him.”
