Dax Shepard is just one of the many actors who wants to play Joe Exotic in a biopic of the Tiger King star!

The 45-year-old actor took to Twitter this week to share his desire to take on the role if a movie or TV series is made one day. (Kate McKinnon is actually already working on one!)

“If I don’t get cast as Joe Exotic in the eventual biopic, Hollywood is broken,” Dax tweeted.

Well, a bunch of celebrities have opinions and while stars like Beth Behrs think he’s perfect for the role, stars like Edward Norton do not agree.

John Finlay, who is one of Tiger King star Joe Exotic‘s ex-husbands, is showing off his new teeth.

Throughout the docu-series, John is seen with rotting teeth and several gaps for missing teeth. He says that the producers of the show decided not to show that he had his teeth fixed.

“Yes I have my teeth fixed. The producers of the Netflix series had video and pictures of this, but chose not to show it,” John wrote on Facebook.

Superstore actress Lauren Ash is one of the many celebrities who has become obsessed with the new Netflix series Tiger King!

The 37-year-old actress, who plays Dina on the NBC comedy series, took to Instagram to sing a cover of Joe Exotic‘s song “I Saw a Tiger.”

Lauren called her cover an “homage” to the star of the Netflix docu-series.

Tiger King follows Joe Exotic, a mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. Things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe’s arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner.

Joe Exotic has filed a $94 million lawsuit from prison.

The star of Netflix’s Tiger King – aka Joseph Maldonado-Passage – is accusing U.S. government agencies of false arrest and imprisonment, TheWrap reports.

According to the lawsuit, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service put the tiger (which he says is a “generic animal”) on the endangered species list so that businesses like his could be shut down (“stealing my property and promoting an animal rights agenda”).

He added that a government agent “knowingly accepted statements he knew were false, allowing his witnesses to lie under oath. Misleading a grand jury and not seeking the truth to further an animal rights agenda. False arrest, entrapment, false imprisonment, all contributing to my mother’s death.”

Joe Exotic is seeking $73,840,000 for loss of personal property and for his 18 years of working with tigers. He is also seeking an additional $15 million for the death of his mother.
