Chris Evans Reveals When He Got His Dodger Tattoo, Talks About Picking His Dog's Name

A photo that Chris Evans posted on Instagram this week went viral when fans realized he has his dog Dodger‘s name tattooed on his chest and now he’s opening up about that tattoo!

The 39-year-old actor opened up about his beloved dog and the tattoo during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which aired on Thursday (October 29).

“That’s probably one of the purest relationships I have,” Chris said. “It didn’t take much convincing. I’ll never regret that tattoo. I’ve regretted a few in my life, but not that one.” He said it’s been two years since he got the tattoo.

Chris also talked about how he picked out Dodger‘s name.

“There’s a movie called Oliver & Company. It’s a Disney movie. An animated movie I grew up watching,” Chris said. “When I first saw him in the shelter, I said, ‘Oh man, that looks like Dodger from Oliver & Company.’ After I decided I was taking him home with me, I went through the process of choosing other names and I just couldn’t get off Dodger. I said I’m not going to overthink this one.”

Chris also opened up about reaching out to Trump.

Jimmy Kimmel Reveals 'Weirdest' Part of Hosting the Virtual Emmys

Jimmy Kimmel is back in the studio to film his show Jimmy Kimmel Live after a summer vacation and he’s opening up about the Emmys!

The 52-year-old late night host opened up about the “weirdest” part of hosting the virtual Emmy Awards while giving his opening monologue on Monday (September 21).

“The weirdest part of hosting this show was, when it was over, there are usually parties and everyone is carrying their Emmys around. Everyone’s happy, everyone’s celebrating. This year, the show ended and it was like ‘well, I guess I’ll go into my car – and drive home,’” he said. “Doing an awards show, where all the winners are at home, is a strange experience. It was probably the first time in history that someone won an Emmy and then, ten minutes later put a load of laundry in the dryer.”

Jimmy joked about hosting the lowest rated Emmys ceremony ever, but said a big positive of the night was raising $2.8 million for charity.

Jimmy Kimmel Delivers Emmys 2020 Monologue to Fake Audience - See His Best Jokes!

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the 2020 Emmy Awards from an empty Staples Center in Los Angeles and he delivered the opening monologue to a fake audience, using a feed from last year’s show.

The talk show host started things off on Sunday night (September 20) by welcoming fans to the “pand-Emmys… You can’t have a virus without a host.”

Jimmy also joked about how the show had no host at least year’s event. He said, “Why are we having an awards show in the middle of a pandemic and what the hell am I doing here? This is the year they decide to have a host?”

Jimmy also talked about the importance of television during the pandemic.

“This has been a miserable year. It’s been a year of division, injustice, disease, zoom school, disaster and death. We’ve been quarantined and locked down, confined to our homes like prisoners. What did we find in that dark and lonely tunnel? We found a friend who is there for us 24 hours a day. Our old pal, television,” he said.

Jimmy joked that Quibi has 10 Emmy nominations, despite it being the “dumbest thing to ever cost a billion dollars.”

While talking about the show Schitt’s Creek, the show’s logo appeared on screen because ABC wouldn’t let him say the title without showing the logo. He joked, “HBO can show us a big blue penis no problem, I can’t stay the word Schitt’s with a C?”

At the end of his monologue, Jimmy showed how there isn’t actually an audience at the event.

“Wait that would mean that I’m up here all alone, just like prom night,” Jimmy joked. “This isn’t a MAGA rally, this is the Emmys.”
