Bruce Willis and Jesse Metcalfe are set to star together in The Fortress, Deadline reports.

The two actors will star as father and son in the film, which also stars Chad Michael Murray and Kelly Greyson.

The story revolves around a top-secret resort for retired U.S. intelligence officers. A group of criminals led by Balzary (Murray) breach the compound, hellbent on revenge on Robert (Willis), forcing the retired officer and his son (Metcalfe) to save the day.

Set up as a trilogy, the first film kicked off production today (May 3) in Puerto Rico, and is set for a back to back film shoot, with the third film happening at a later date.

The Fortress was developed by Emmett/Furla Films co-CEO Randall Emmett and Emile Hirsch and the scripts were written by Alan Horsnail.

Jesse Metcalfe has decided to exit the Hallmark Channel’s family drama Chesapeake Shores ahead of the season five debut.

The 42-year-old actor has starred on the show since season one debut in 2016.

“A new season of Hallmark Channel’s highly popular scripted series Chesapeake Shores is returning this summer. Jesse Metcalfe, who plays Trace Riley, has decided to leave the show,” a rep told Deadline. “His character’s storyline will wrap up early in Season 5. Jesse is a valued member of the Crown Media family; we look forward to continuing to work with him on projects, including original movies on Hallmark Channel, as well as his Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie series, Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries, the next installment of which premieres on May 16. In addition, we are currently in development on another movie in the series.”

He is reportedly in Canada to film his final scenes opposite Meghan Ory’s Abby O’Brien.

Jesse Metcalfe just wished his new girlfriend Corin Jamie-Lee Clark a happy birthday on Instagram and fans can’t help but notice that she looks like one of his former on-screen love interests!

The 42-year-old actor is best known for playing the role of gardener John Rowland on Desperate Housewives. His character was having an affair with Eva Longoria‘s character Gabrielle Solis, who fans think Corin resembles.

The 41-year-old John Tucker Must Die actor held hands with girlfriend Corin Jamie-Lee Clark after their dinner date on Friday night (November 6) at the La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

Jesse kept things casual in a tan plaid shirt over a blue shirt while paired with jeans while the 27-year-old Canadian model showed off her super toned abs in a light-blue cardigan paired with jeans and jeans for their night out. The couple stayed safe in face masks as they gotten into their Uber ride.

The new couple’s dinner date comes a day after they were seen stepping out on a coffee run.

According to reports, Jesse and Corin have been quietly dating for a few months now.

Jesse and longtime fiancee Cara Santana split up back in January after he was spotted holding hands with two other women on the same day.
