Jennifer Nettles Sings 'Tomorrow' From 'Annie' To Give Hope To Fans

Jennifer Nettles has released an extremely timely and touching video with Annie‘s “Tomorrow”.

The 45-year-old Sugarland singer shared the visual, made up of heartwarming images of family, and of empty streets, on her YouTube channel.

“There is so much uncertainty, anxiety and disruption happening right now,” Jennifer shared with People. “While the context of a pandemic is unprecedented in our lifetime, as a country we have been through hard, scary times together before.”

She added, “I wanted to remind people of our resilience. Hope is one of our biggest superpowers in this country. This song and video celebrate both: our resilience and our hope.”

Lin-Manuel Miranda, 'Queer Eye' Stars, & More Attend the 'Cats' World Premiere!

Lin-Manuel Miranda poses for a photo on the red carpet at the premiere of Cats on Monday (December 16) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The Hamilton star was joined by so many other Broadway stars to support the stage-to-screen adaptation of the musical.

Queer Eye stars Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness were both at the event to support their friend Taylor Swift, who stars in the movie.

Some of the Broadway stars who attended the premiere included HerculesKrysta Rodriguez, Hadestown‘s Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada, Mean GirlsRenee Rapp, former On Your Feet stars Ana Villafane and Josh Segarra, future Company actress Katrina Lenk, former Wicked star Jenna Leigh Green, and Cats‘ original Tony-winning star Betty Buckley.

Also in attendance were Booksmart‘s Beanie Feldstein, model Sara Sampaio, singer Jennifer Nettles, CBS News’ Gayle King, Orange Is the New Black‘s Emma Myles and Dale Soules, theater owner Jordan Roth (in perfect high-fashion Grizabella cosplay), and of course, Cats composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Jennifer Nettles is definitely making a statement!

The 45-year-old Sugarland singer hit the red carpet at the 2019 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 13) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Jennifer wore a dress on the red carpet that read: “Play our f–kin records, please and thank you,” on the front, and on the back, the dress displayed an image of a woman with a Venus symbol and read “EQUAL PLAY.”

For the first time in the history of the CMAs, women are nominated in every category, except Male Vocalist of the Year.

Cynthia Erivo Screens New Movie 'Harriet' in NYC

Cynthia Erivo is all smiles at the screening of her new movie Harriet on Thursday evening (October 24) at the Roxy Hotel Screening Room in New York City.

The 32-year-old actress showed off her green hair while looking pretty in a white dress as she stepped out to promote her new movie.

Joining Cynthia at the screening was pal Lena Waithe along with co-stars Jennifer Nettles, Zackary Momoh, and Vanessa Bell Calloway along with director Kasi Lemmons.

Harriet will be out in theaters on November 1.

Cynthia Erivo Goes Green for 'Harriet' D.C. Premiere!

Cynthia Erivo shows off her green hair on the red carpet at the Harriet D.C. premiere on Tuesday (October 22) in Washington, D.C.

The 32-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Leslie Odom Jr, Jennifer Nettles, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Zackary Momoh, and Nick Basta. The event took place at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History.

Also in attendance were director Kasi Lemmons, executive producer Nnmadi Asomugha, and Leslie‘s wife Nicolette Robinson.

Constance Wu is helping celebrate women in film!

The 37-year-old actress stepped out for the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ Women’s Initiative luncheon on Wednesday afternoon (October 2) at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

She was also joined at the event by Cynthia Erivo, Meg Ryan, Greta Gerwig, Jennifer Nettles and Laura Dern.

During the event, Laura and Greta took to the stage to discuss their careers in the film industry.

The annual event, presented by E! and Swarovski, honors the Academy’s Women’s Initiative and its efforts to create opportunities for female filmmakers to connect, share their stories and celebrate inclusion.
