'Jurassic World: Dominion' Resumes Shooting Amid Pandemic

Jurassic World: Dominion is getting started again.

The highly anticipated sequel in the long-running franchise started filming again this week in the U.K. amid the pandemic, Variety reported Friday (July 10).

“Any reports indicating that Jurassic World: Dominion has halted production are categorically untrue. The production is in its fifth day of shooting today, and we’re thrilled to be back in front of the camera on this incredible project,” a Universal rep confirmed in a statement amid reports that the production experienced a shutdown due to more than one crew member testing positive for coronavirus.

Jurassic World: Dominion was four weeks into its 20-week production when production first shut down.

Variety reported that Universal would be implementing new safety procedures to keep the set at Pinewood Studios free from COVID-19. The cost, including temperature checks and coronavirus testing, is apparently in the $5 million range according to insiders.

The movie stars Chris Pratt reprising his role as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, plus Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Justice Smith, and BD Wong. The movie is set to open on June 11, 2021.

Just a few days before production resumed, here’s what Chris Pratt was last seen doing…

Camila Morrone Reveals She Performed 'Shallow' with Adele During Her Karaoke Party!

Jeff Goldblum served as guest host on last night’s (December 12) The Late Late Show, and welcomed Camila Morrone and Sam Rockwell to the couch.

The 67-year-old actor asked Camila, 22, about her holiday plans and learned she’s gearing up to host a party that will feature karaoke – and she admitted, despite her lack of singing ability, she once did karaoke with Adele.

“I got invited last minute as a plus one to Adele’s karaoke birthday party this year. Don’t worry, she doesn’t know who I am,” Camila admitted. “So I get invited to go as a plus one, and I’m just honored to be in the same room as Adele. My friend knowing that I have the worst karaoke itch says, ‘sit back and enjoy the party and don’t get involved.’”

“Of course, ‘Shallow‘ comes on by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, and she’s [Adele] like, ‘who wants to sing it with me?’ I was like, ‘me!’ I got up on stage, she never met me and we dueted ‘Shallow‘ together. I sang to her ‘Rolling in the Deep‘, which was an ambitious choice on my part.”

Jeff Goldblum also turned his attention to Sam‘s portrayal of Bob Fosse in Fosse/Verdon, and congratulated him for all the award nominations he’s receiving.

FYI: Camila is wearing a JLUX Label look.

Jeff Goldblum stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (November 14) and dished about his brand new Disney+ series, The World According to Jeff Goldblum!

The show, which launched on November 12 via National Geographic, follows the 67-year-old Jurassic Park star as he uncovers new science, history and insights into familiar objects.

“I don’t think it’s a travel show really,” Jeff told Jimmy. “It’s an experience for me, they sent me everywhere around the United States, if we do more –which I hope we do — maybe we’ll go outside internationally, but here we went to all kinds of places that I never would have gone otherwise and I had experiences.”

“They put me in a big kind of tub you know, going down this harrowing thing, I thought we were going to fall out,” Jeff said of his trip to a water park. “I thought my life was ending.”

Jeff also talked about having fun with fashion, performing with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra for the Queen of England, collaborating with people like Fiona Apple, Sharon Van Etten and Miley Cyrus on his new album, playing with Aerosmith and Jurassic World.
