Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki has broken his silence for the very first time since his late October arrest.

If you don’t know, the 37-year-old actor was arrested outside of a club in Austin, Texas, and is facing two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication after he allegedly struck both a bartender and the general manager of the club in the face.

“I want to sincerely thank my family and friends for all of your love and support. So sad to miss the #SPNFamily at #dccon but I hope to see y’all soon,” Jared tweeted out to his fans on Sunday (November 3) for the first time since the incident.

Jared Padalecki was arrested over the weekend following an argument outside of an Austin bar and fans might be wondering if this will affect production on Supernatural.

The CW is currently midway through production of the final season of the beloved series.

Deadline reports that production “is not currently affected by his arrest” as he is “not scheduled to be back at work in Vancouver, where Supernatural films, until later this week.”

Jared was charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and he is no longer in custody. His bond was set at $5,000.

Jared Padalecki was reportedly arrested early Sunday morning (October 27) in Austin, Texas.

It is being reported that the 37-year-old Supernatural star was arrested outside of Stereotype, a club he frequents in Austin, on two accounts of assault, according to TMZ.

Jared is reportedly facing two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication after he allegedly struck both a bartender and the general manager of the club in the face.

In the video obtained by TMZ, Jared can be seen outside of the club putting someone in a headlock and then talking to the police. He also allegedly took out a stack of cash and waved it in front of the officers.

TMZ reports that Jared‘s bail is set at $15,000 and it’s unclear if he has been bailed out yet.

Walker, Texas Ranger is getting a reboot!

The ’90s series will be getting a remake with Supernatural star Jared Padalecki leading the cast, THR confirmed on Friday (October 11).

The new show will be called Walker.

Jared will play Cordell Walker, “a widowed father of two with his own moral code who returns to his home in Austin after two years of undercover work on a high-profile case, only to discover there’s more work to be done at home. He’ll try to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his conservative family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner, one of the few women ever to serve in the Texas Rangers — while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances of his wife’s death.”

The original show starred Chuck Norris and ran from 1993 to 2001, with a TV movie in 2005.

Jared Padalecki is in talks to star in, and executive produce, a reboot of CBS’ former hit show Walker, Texas Ranger!

The 37-year-old Supernatural star’s new show is being shopped around with networks like The CW and CBS showing interest.

According to Deadline, the series will follow “Cordell Walker (Padalecki), a man finding his way back to his family while investigating crime in the state’s most elite unit. Our broken widower and father of two returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years for a high profile case – only to discover that there’s even more work to be done at home.”

Jared‘s current show Supernatural is heading into its final season on The CW. Jared and his co-stars got emotional promoting the show recently!

The original Walker, Texas Ranger aired from 1993 to 2001, and starred Chuck Norris.

The two Supernatural stars were joined by co-stars Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert; as well as the casts of Arrow - Stephen Amell, Katherine McNamara, Ben Lewis and David Ramsey; and Batwoman - Ruby Rose, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson, Meagan Tandy, Rachel Skarsten, Elizabeth Anweis and Dougray Scott.

The 100‘s Tasya Teles, All American‘s Samantha Logan, Taye Diggs, Michael Evans Behling, Daniel Ezra, Jalyn Hall, Cody Christian and Bre-Z; and In The Dark‘s Perry Mattfeld, Casey Diedrick, Morgan Krantz, Brooke Markham, and Keston John were also stopped at the party.
