Isan Elba is ready for college!

The 17-year-old daughter of Idris Elba took to Instagram on Friday night (December 20) to reveal that she will enrolling in New York University this fall.

“Introducing Tisch School of the Arts’ new student! I am proud to say that I will be a Film and Television Production major at NYU! #classof2024,” Isan wrote.

Isan can be seen wearing a gray hoodie with “NYU” in purple lettering while posing in Washington Square Park.

Dwayne Johnson is all smiles on the red carpet at the premiere of Hobbs & Shaw on Saturday (July 13) at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

The 47-year-old actor looked handsome in a brown suit as he was joined at the premiere by co-star Idris Elba, who brought along wife Sabrina Dhowre and daughter Isan Elba.

Fellow co-stars at the event were Vanessa Kirby and Eiza Gonzalez while guests included Lindsey Vonn and boyfriend PK Subban.

Taraji P. Henson steps out for hosting duty at the Inaugural “Can We Talk?” Benefit Dinner on Friday night (June 7) at The Newseum in Washington, DC.

The 48-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress showed off some leg in a black dress as she hosted the event along with her The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, which she founded to help eradicate the stigma around mental health issues in the African-American community.

Other stars at the event included black-ish actress Jennifer Lewis, rapper Charlamagne tha God, and Idris Elba‘s daughter Isan.

Earlier in the day, Taraji gave an emotional and powerful speech while opening the Congressional Black Caucus Emergency Taskforce on Black Youth Suicide and Mental Health.

Past Golden Globe Award winner and six-time award nominee Idris Elba has arrived!

The 46-year-old actor was joined by his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre as well as his daughter Isan Elba, who is the Golden Globes ambassador this year, while walking the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Idris will be hitting the stage later this evening to present an award on stage. Stay tuned for more photos!

The Killing Eve actress and the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor are co-hosting the show this year and Sandra is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.

The co-hosts were joined at the press preview by Idris Elba‘s daughter Isan, who is serving as the Golden Globe Ambassador this year.

Idris Elba suits up on the red carpet at the 2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday (November 18) at the Theatre Royal in London, England.

The 46-year-old actor and newly-appointed “Sexiest Man Alive” was joined at the event by his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre, his 16-year-old daughter Isan, and an unidentified young man.

Idris is co-hosting the annual awards show with The Crown‘s Claire Foy.

Isan had some big news to celebrate last week. It was announced that she will be the 2019 Golden Globe Ambassador and she’ll be on stage at next year’s Golden Globes to assist handing out the awards.

It’s a big month for the Elbas!

Just a week after Idris Elba was named People’s 2018 Sexiest Man Alive, it has been announced that his 16-year-old daughter Isan has been selected as the 2019 Golden Globe Ambassador.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Meher Tatna made the announcement during a ceremony on Wednesday night (November 14) at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles.

Each year, the HFPA chooses a child of one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, director, or producers to help them raise money and awareness for a nonprofit organization of their choice.

“I feel honored to hold this title and use this role to not only further educate people on the work of the HFPA, but also shine a light on issues that I care about,” Isan shared during the event. “Mental health, specifically among African Americans and my peers in particular, is something I really want to be more vocal about. There’s this perceived stigma and I’ve seen friends struggle. We need to empower young people to not be afraid to ask for help.”

Isan will also be helping out during the ceremony next year by ushering presenters on and off stage and handing out awards.

The 2019 Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, January 6, 2019 on NBC.
