Young Sheldon has been given a massive three season renewal, locking the show in for seasons five, six, and seven on CBS.

“Under Chuck Lorre’s and Steve Molaro’s deft leadership, this superb cast and gifted writers have truly brought these wonderful characters to life,” CBS president Kelly Kahl said in a statement (via TV Line). “Young Sheldon dominates the broadcast comedy landscape by over 2.5 million viewers and is the lynchpin of CBS’ top-rated Thursday comedy lineup. The humor, warmth and heart exuded by the Cooper family is an undeniable hook for the millions of fans who tune in each week. We’re excited to see what the next three seasons have in store for a slightly older Sheldon and all the Coopers.”

The series, a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory starring Iain Armitage as the younger version of Jim Parsons‘ character Sheldon Cooper, is now guaranteed to be on the air through 2024.

Courteney Cox keeps it cool and casual while hitting the red carpet at the opening night performance of The Last Ship held at Ahmanson Theatre on Wednesday (January 22) in Los Angeles.

The 55-year-old Friends actress was joined at the event by Camilla Belle, Rachel Bloom, Iain Armitage, Melanie Griffith, Laurence Fishburne, Shaggy, Carrie Ann Inaba, Keala Settle, Michelle Kwan, and Pierce Brosnan with wife Keely Brosnan.

Joining them at the event was lead star Sting, who plays shipyard foreman Jackie White in the musical, and was accompanied at the opening by wife Trudie Styler.

The Last Ship‘s score was written by Sting based on a book of the same name by author Lorne Campbell. It’s opening night in Los Angeles follows a UK national tour and subsequent six week run at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto.

The story was inspired by Sting‘s childhood experiences in the shipbuilding industry in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear. It received two Tony Award nominations in 2015, for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations.

Alexander Skarsgard looked so sharp at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards!

The 31-year-old Big Little Lies actor hit the carpet at the event on Sunday evening (January 19) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

He was also joined by his cast mates Douglas Smith, James Tupper, Robin Weigert, Jeffrey Nordling, Iain Armitage, Darby Camp and Merrin Dungey.

During the show, the series is up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

The SAG Awards honor the best performances in film and television and only actors vote for who wins. Make sure to tune in tonight at 8pm EST / 5pm PST on TNT and TBS.

Iain Armitage is giving Cats a rave review!

After seeing the new movie, the 11-year-old Young Sheldon star took to his Facebook account on Sunday (December 29) to post a review praising the movie.

“Finally got to see Cats the Movie!! Especially enjoyed Dame Judy Dench as Old Deuteronomy and Sir Ian McKellen as Gus. Actually loved ALL the parts where there were cats who sang and danced lol,” Iain wrote.

Iain seems to be the only person so far to like Cats. The film has received major criticism from both critics and moviegoers.

One of the stars of Cats still hasn’t seen the movie because he heard it’s “terrible.”

So many stars are stepping out for the premiere Netflix’s new animated series Green Eggs and Ham!

Ellen DeGeneres, who serves as an executive producer on the show, was joined by the show’s voice cast Adam DeVine, Keegan-Michael Key, Diane Keaton, and Ilana Glazer at the premiere on Sunday afternoon (November 3) at the Hollywood American Legion Post 43 in Los Angeles.

Other stars at the premiere included Adam‘s fiancee Chloe Bridges, Malin Akerman, Veep‘s Reid Scott and son Conrad, American Horror Story actress Adina Porter, Young Sheldon star Iain Armitage, This Is Us actor Lonnie Chavis, along with Rachel Zoe, husband Rodger Berman and sons Skyler and Kaius.

Green Eggs and Ham will debut on Netflix on Friday, November 8th.

Shailene Woodley left her shoes behind as she got her dance on with Iain Armitage at the Big Little Lies premiere on Wednesday night (May 29) in New York City.

The duo – who play mother and son on the HBO series – showed off their dance skills to all the party goers inside the after party event.
