Netflix Releases Chilling New 'Haunting of Bly Manor' Trailer Ahead of Show's Premiere

Netflix just dropped a chilling new trailer for the upcoming The Haunting of Bly Manor series, out on October 9.

The new horror series is the next chapter in The Haunting anthology series and in set in 1980s England.

After an au pair’s tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to care for his orphaned niece and nephew (Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) who reside at Bly Manor with the estate’s chef Owen (Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper Jamie (Amelia Eve) and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (T’Nia Miller).

But all is not as it seems at the manor, and centuries of dark secrets of love and loss are waiting to be unearthed in this chilling gothic romance. At Bly Manor, dead doesn’t mean gone.

Also starring in the series are Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Tahirah Sharif.

The debut trailer for The Haunting of Bly Manor has just debuted and it’s chilling!

From The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy comes this new horror series, the next highly anticipated chapter of The Haunting anthology series, set in 1980s England. 'Stargirl' Gets First Official Teaser Trailer - Watch Now!

Check out the first trailer for The CW and DC Universe’s Stargirl!

The CW debuted the official teaser for the series during Crisis: AftermathEW’s after-show for the Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths” – on Tuesday (December 10).

The show was originally created for the DC Universe. It will air on both that streaming service and on The CW.

Stargirl follows “Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a high schooler who is forced to relocate from Los Angeles to Blue Valley, Nebraska after her mother re-marries. To her surprise, though, she discovers her new step-father Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) used to be Stripesy, the sidekick of JSA Member Starman (Joel McHale). … Starman’s staff isn’t supposed to work for anyone except for him, and yet it does for Courtney, much to Pat’s surprise,” according to EW.

The show also stars Henry Thomas, Lou Ferrigno Jr., Amy Smart, Meg DeLacy, Nelson Lee, and Trae Romano.

Stargirl will premiere in Spring 2020.

E.T. & Elliott Reunite 37 Years Later in This Comcast Ad! (Video)

An amazing reunion just took place for Thanksgiving – E.T. is back on earth for a visit with Elliott, 37 years later.

Henry Thomas is back in character as Elliott for a short film created by Comcast NBCUniversal, which brings together the creative and innovative companies that are a part of Comcast.

E.T. is back on earth for a surprise visit with Elliott, who now has his own family. Although technology has changed our world since they’ve last seen each other 37 years ago, their connection and friendship remains strong and is a touching reminder of how important reconnecting is during the holiday season.

“We are honored to be able to bring back these characters this holiday season. We hope seeing the reunion story of E.T. and Elliott inspires families everywhere to watch the movie together – whether it’s their first time or 25th time seeing it,” Comcast said in a statement.

Henry said, “The audience is going to get everything they want out of a sequel without the messy bits that could destroy the beauty of the original and the special place it has in people’s minds and hearts. It’s really a win-win.”

E.T. will be airing on Syfy on Thanksgiving Day and Xfinity subscribers can watch it on demand.

'E.T.' & 'Haunting of Hill House' Actor Henry Thomas Arrested for DUI

Henry Thomas, who you may recognize from Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House and the star of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, was arrested for a DUI.

The arrest took place on Monday (October 21) in Oregon when a fellow driver called 911 to report a car parked in the middle of a residential intersection.

He was booked for misdemeanor driving under the influence of intoxicants, TMZ reports. He was released on Tuesday (October 22). Police did say that his vehicle did not smell of alcohol.

So far, Henry has not made a statement about the arrest.

Carla Gugino and Elizabeth Reaser represented The Haunting of Hill House at Netflix’s latest FYSEE event!

The co-stars stepped out for the panel discussion on Tuesday evening (May 21) at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.

They were also joined by cast mates Timothy Hutton, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti.

During the event, the group chatted about the Netflix series and got to check out props from the show on display.

The stars of The Haunting of Hill House hit the red carpet at the premiere of their new show on Tuesday night (October 2) at the Welsh Chapel in London, England.

The stars – Michiel Huisman, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Elizabeth Reaser – stepped out to promote their upcoming Netflix horror series.

A modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson‘s iconic novel, The Haunting of Hill House explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past — some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.
