At least three actresses are expecting to participate in the screen test to take on the title role in HBO Max‘s Batgirl film.

Not much is known about the film as of right now, but it is clear that the title role will be Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner Gordon in the DC Comics lore, who becomes Batgirl in this universe.

One site is reporting that three actresses are testing this week, and one might be testing but “might have bowed out before the test process.”

This weekend, there have been two major television shows shut down due to COVID-19 cases.

Sarah Jessica Parker is hard at work on the set of And Just Like That…

The 56-year-old actress was spotted arriving on the set of the upcoming Sex and the City reboot series on Friday (July 16) in New York City.

She later joined her co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis for filming at Webster Hall that night.

Here’s a plot summary for the show: The new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series Sex and the City follows Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Nixon) and Charlotte (Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

The Game of Thrones animated universe is expanding!

In case you missed it, in January 2021 it was reported that HBO Max was developing an “adult-leaning” animated drama based on the show.

According to a new report from THR on Friday (July 16), two more animated series are in the works at the streamer.

The brand new trailer for Titans is finally out!

The series centers on the young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong.

In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters and Joshua Orpin with Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, and Damaris Lewis.

Savannah Welch and Vincent Kartheiser have joined the series for the upcoming season, with Jay Lycurgo recurring.

The first three episodes of Titans season three will premiere on Thursday, August 12. New episodes will then launch weekly every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max.

Zach Braff is the latest star to join the cast of HBO Max’s new movie Moonshot!

The 46-year-old Scrubs actor has signed on to star in the upcoming sci-fi rom-com heading to HBO Max, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
