Beyonce Makes Grammys History with Record-Breaking 28th Win!

Beyonce has made Grammys history!

The 39-year-old entertainer took home her 28th Grammy award during the ceremony held on Sunday night (March 14) at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Beyonce officially won her 28th award for Best R&B Performance for her song “Black Parade.”

She is now the most awarded singer and female artist in Grammys history. Conductor Georg Solti currently holds the record for the most Grammy wins with 31 and producer Quincy Jones also has 28 wins.

Earlier in the night, Beyonce won her 27th award, winning Best Rap Song with Megan Thee Stallion for the “Savage” remix.

Ahead of the actual ceremony, it was announced that Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy, 9, won her first ever Grammy with the mother-daughter-duo’s song “Brown Skin Girl” winning Best Music Video.

Who is Dua Lipa's Grammys Date? Meet the Guy By Her Side!

Dua Lipa is having a big night at the 2021 Grammy Awards and the guy by her side isn’t her boyfriend Anwar Hadid.

The 25-year-old singer took someone special as her date for the event on Sunday (March 14) in downtown Los Angeles.

Dua is at the Grammys with her music manager Ben Mawson, who is the co-founder of Tap Music and also the manager of artists like Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding. He started his career as a music lawyer who navigated label signings, but later segued into management.

“To be a manager you’ve got to be passionate about your artists and what they do. For me, the voice is important, but it’s not only the voice,” Ben said in an interview last year.

During the show, Dua gave an amazing performance and she won the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia. Check out the full list of winners so far.

Maren Morris & John Mayer Join Forces for an Emotional Performance of 'The Bones'

Maren Morris got some help from John Mayer for her performance at the 2021 Grammys!

The country superstar rocked a red dress with high leg-slit for her performance of the 2019 hit “The Bones”. She shared a couple smiles with John, who sang backup vocals and even performed one of his signature guitar solos.

Maren told People she was very excited to be performing with the “New Light” singer for the show.

“I’m performing ‘The Bones’ with my friend playing guitar, John Mayer, so it’s gonna be a really beautiful performance,” she said. “He adds so much to it, obviously — he’s John. I’m so [grateful] to him that he is sitting in with us tonight.”

“He’s just smart as a whip. He is also really, really thoughtful and he internalizes every other word he says,” she continued. “I feel like it’s kind of adorable. He’s been just so respectful and complementary to my music over the years.”

“The Bones” was nominated for Best Country Song this year, but lost to The Highwomen‘s song “Crowded Table.”

Megan Thee Stallion & Cardi B Had the Most Epic Grammys Performance, Ending with 'Wap' Live for First Time!

Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B definitely win the award for most exciting performance of the night at the 2021 Grammy Awards!

The two rap music superstars teamed up for a medley of their big hits during the show on Sunday night (March 14) in downtown Los Angeles.

Megan started things off with a dance performance to “Body” before segueing into her Grammy-winning song “Savage.” Though Beyonce didn’t join her on stage, her vocals were used during the performance.

Cardi then continued things by performing her new song “Up” and then Megan joined her for their smash hit song “WAP,” marking the first time they’ve performed it live on television.

Megan has already won three awards tonight – Best New Artist, as well as Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Savage” with Beyonce.

Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak Perform for First Time as Silk Sonic at Grammys 2021!

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are taking over the Grammys stage!

The guys took to the stage as their new band Silk Sonic during the awards show held on Sunday (March 14) from the Los Angeles Convention Center.

During their performance, the two performed their brand new single “Leave the Door Open,” which they just released as Silk Sonic a few weeks ago.

Bruno and Anderson recently announced that they had teamed up as Silk Sonic and that they will be releasing their first album very soon!

Earlier in the night, the guys looked super suave in suits as they walked the red carpet while arriving at the show.

Ahead of the awards show, it was announced Anderson won the award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his song “Lockdown.”
