Freida Pinto has shared some exciting news!

The 36-year-old actress is pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé Cory Tran.

The couple revealed the news on Instagram, with them cradling her baby bump.

“Baby Tran, coming this Fall!” the duo wrote on the feed.

The announcement was followed with replies from their celeb friends, including Sam Claflin.

“Noooooo way! No way?! ❤️ So much love and so many congratulations guys. So happy for you 🤗,” he wrote.

Kate Bosworth added, “Ah!!!! Soooooooo happy for you babe 💛💛💛💛💛 congrats beautiful mama ✨✨✨.”

Freida and Cory announced their engagement in November 2019, after first sparking romance rumors in 2017.

Dev Patel had some huge movie news announced this week and his ex-girlfriend Freida Pinto is sending him a lot of support!

If you don’t remember, Dev and Freida met while starring together in the Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, which launched both of their careers. They dated for six years and split in late 2014.

Dev just finished filming his directorial debut on a movie called Monkey Man and Netflix has struck a deal to purchase the film for $30 million, according to Deadline.

Not only does Dev direct the movie, he also stars in it as “an unlikely hero who emerges from prison to take on a world enmeshed in corporate greed and eroding spiritual values, and seeking revenge from those who took everything from him years before.” The movie is being billed as “John Wick in Mumbai” and it’s expected to be released in 2022.

Freida Pinto will be starring in the upcoming limited series Spy Princess!

The 36-year-old actress, best known for her breakout role in Slumdog Millionaire, will also executive produce the series, which is based on the book “Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan” by Shrabani Basu.

Writer Olivia Hetreed will write the series and Basu will be a consultant on the series, according to Deadline.

Spy Princess will tell the true story of Noor Inayat Khan, who “was the first female wireless operator sent into occupied France in 1943 – a role with a life expectancy of just six weeks.”

Freida said in a statement, “She was a fierce and amazing woman, the most unlikely heroine of World War 2. Sending women to the front line is controversial even now. Then it was unthinkable. Sending a Sufi mystic, who won’t use a gun, daughter of a long-haired Indian Guru who preaches love and peace – ridiculous! But Noor thrives, not in spite of her differences, but because of them. Her struggle to reconcile her values with the desire to find her own path and with her complex sense of duty, is something I am so excited to explore and to recreate.”

J.D. must navigate the complex dynamics of his Appalachian family, including his volatile relationship with his mother Bev (Adams), who’s struggling with addiction. Fueled by memories of his grandmother Mamaw (Close), the resilient and whip-smart woman who raised him, J.D. comes to embrace his family’s indelible imprint on his own personal journey.

The film will debut on November 24 on Netflix.

There’s a new romantic comedy coming to Netflix!

The Dean Craig-directed movie stars Sam Claflin, Olivia Munn, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joel Fry, Tim Key, Aisling Bea, Jack Farthing, Allan Mustafa and Freida Pinto.
