The cast of Bones pose together before their panel during the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday afternoon (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

During the panel, the show’s stars, including David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, John Boyd, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin, TJ Thyne and Dave Thomas opened up about the upcoming final season.

Fox also just announced that they plan to re-air Bones‘ season 11 finale after it was partially pre-empted due to RNC coverage.

“Due to an over-run in coverage of the Republican National Convention, a portion of last night’s season finale of Bones was pre-empted on the West Coast. We will re-air the finale next Friday, July 29, at 8:00pm ET/PT on Fox. The episode also is currently available on Fox.com, Fox Now app, Hulu and Fox on Demand. We apologize to our viewers for this inconvenience,” the network explained.

January Jones and her The Last Man on Earth co-star Will Forte show their support for their series while at the 2016 Fox Upfront Presentation Allstar Party on Monday night (May 17) at Wollman Rink in New York City.

The co-stars were joined by other Fox stars including Ali Larter, Emily Deschanel, Helen Hunt, Gordon Ramsay, Anna Diop, Mark Consuelos, David Boreanaz, Dominic Purcell and Mark Paul Gosselaar.

Other attendees included Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and Miss USA Olivia Jordan.

The night before, January and Will‘s show The Last Man on Earth aired its season two finale but was renewed for a third season earlier this year.

Bones has been renewed for one final season, with stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz all set to return.

“This is for the fans!,” David said in a statement (via Deadline) “Thank you to everyone at Fox and of course Dana and Gary – for all your support. Thank you to Hart, Stephen, Ian, Michael and Jonathan. Also to the crew and cast for their countless support along the way! And I couldn’t have done it without you, Emily!”

Emily added, “I am thrilled the show will have the ending it deserves for all of our amazing, loyal fans!”

The final season will have 12 episodes, and producers promise “we can give the show, characters and fans the end they so richly deserve.”

Season 11 of Bones is set to return in April.

Joaquin Phoenix hits the red carpet with his sisters Rain, Liberty, and Summer, and their mother Arlyn while arriving at PETA’s 35th Anniversary Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The family was joined at the event by Kesha, Emily Deschanel, Maggie Q, William H. Joaquin and his family hit the stage together to present the first-ever River Phoenix Humanitarian Award to Earthlings filmmaker Shaun Monson.

“He took personal responsibility for his beliefs by becoming vegan,” Arlyn said about her late son River, adding, “He inspired not only our family but the world.”

Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby have just welcomed their second child together!

“The whole family and baby are doing well,” the 38-year-old actress’ rep shared to Us Weekly.

Emily and David announced that they were expecting in December last year.

Emily and David are also loving parents to their son Henry, who was born in 2011.

If you weren’t aware, Emily‘s younger sister Zooey is also expecting her first child with fiance Jacob Pechenik.

Earlier this year, the 38-year-old actress had hinted that she wanted to have another child by saying to the mag, “It’s something I really want for him, but we have a lot on our plate already.”

The couple’s new bundle of joy will be joining their son Henry, who was born in 2011.

In case you didn’t know, Emily and David tied the knot in 2010 in an intimate ceremony in the Pacific Palisades.
