Full 'Borderlands' Movie Cast Revealed After Final Casting Announcement!

The highly anticipated movie Borderlands, an adaptation of the popular video game, has completed casting and you can see the full cast list here!

Eli Roth is directing the upcoming movie for Lionsgate and Cate Blanchett is starring as the lead role of Lilith.

Roth told Deadline, “I am so excited to work with this incredible, top notch cast. Every single part counts and elevates the film and we have the best of the best coming in to really make Borderlands spectacular. I love movies where every character counts and you can only achieve that with a great cast. Every one of these gifted actors will bring something special to the film.”

The new casting additions including Gina Gershon and Cheyenne Jackson, among others.

Edgar Ramirez Joins the Cast of Upcoming Netflix Drama 'Florida Man'

Edgar Ramirez is taking on a new role!

The 44-year-old actor is set to star in a new Netflix series called Florida Man, per THR.

Here’s a synopsis of the show: Florida Man follows what happens when a struggling ex-cop is forced to return to his home state to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should be a quick gig becomes a spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.

The series was created by Donald Todd, who’s known for his work on This Is Us, and will be produced by Jason Bateman‘s Netflix-based production company, Aggregate.

Edgar‘s recently starred in another Netflix film opposite Jennifer Garner and the movie was a huge hit!

The actor has also joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming video game adaptation Borderlands.

Edgar Ramirez is joining the star-studded cast of Borderlands!

The 44-year-old actor will play Atlas in Eli Roth‘s upcoming adaptation of the popular video game series.

In the game, Atlas is a business titan and arms manufacturer, and the most powerful person in the universe.

The cast also includes Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hart as Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis as Tannis, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, Jack Black as Claptrap and Haley Bennett as a new character.

“What an incredible honor to have an actor of Edgar’s caliber, talent, and charisma playing opposite Cate Blanchett and this remarkable cast,” Eli said in a statement. “Atlas has to be a truly magnetic personality, someone with charisma and charm but that air of menace underneath it all. I’ve been a fan of Edgar’s since his early performances and he continues to amaze me with each dramatic turn. We want to create something wild, fun, and very different from anything they’ve seen from Edgar before. I am so, so excited to work with him.”

Jennifer Garner took to Instagram on Friday (March 19) to share a selfie with her co-star Edgar Ramirez, while revealing how many households have watched their new movie since it was released on March 12.

“From @edgarramirez25 and me, along with the YES DAY cast, crew, producers—and everyone @netflix—THANK YOU for making YES DAY your #1 movie around the world 🌎! To all 53 million households (🤯) on their way to your own Yes Days, remember my Golden Rules: ice cream for breakfast ✅, backyard tent at night ✅, and NO new pets 🚫🐶🚫🐱! Beyond that, Happy YES DAY—please don’t hold me accountable 😬!” the 48-year-old actress wrote.

Here’s the synopsis of Yes Day: “Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison (Garner) and Carlos (Ramirez) decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.”

The new family comedy Yes Day will be released on Netflix this weekend and the cast got together online for a virtual premiere the other day!

Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, and the rest of the cast rolled out the red carpet in their homes or backyards for a fun virtual event.

Others in attendance at the premiere included H.E.R., Nat Faxon, Leonardo Nam, Megan Stott, Julian Lerner, and Everly Carganilla.

The streaming site debuted the Yes Day trailer starring Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez on Wednesday (February 10).

Yes Day also stars Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner, Everly Carganilla, H.E.R., Nat Faxon, Molly Sims, Fortune Feimster, and Arturo Castro.

The movie, directed by Miguel Arteta, is based on the book of the same name by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

Yes Day will be released on Netflix on Friday, March 12.
