'Monster Hunter' Movie Moves Back to December 2020 After Other Films Get Pushed Back

The upcoming movie Monster Hunter has made a rare move BACK to 2020 after previously being delayed until next year.

Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa‘s new film was originally scheduled to be released on September 4, 2020, but it was pushed back to April 23, 2021 amid the pandemic.

Several big movies that were supposed to come out at the end of 2020, including Dune and West Side Story, have now been delayed until the end of 2021. Because there’s a gap in the release schedule now, Sony Pictures is taking advantage by moving Monster Hunter to December 30, 2020.

Here is the film’s synopsis: Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.

'Terminator: Dark Fate' Premiere Cancelled Amid California Wildfires

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Terminator: Dark Fate premiere has been cancelled due to the ongoing Getty Fires, which broke out hours ago in the area connecting West Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley. 10,000 homes have been evacuated in the Brentwood and Westwood areas.

Arnold had to evacuate his home, explaining, “We evacuated safely at 3:30 this morning. If you are in an evacuation zone, don’t screw around. Get out. Right now I am grateful for the best firefighters in the world, the true action heroes who charge into the danger to protect their fellow Californians. #GettyFire.”

Paramount Pictures was intending to hold the premiere and after party on Monday (October 28) in Hollywood, but instead will be donating all the food intended to be served to the American Red Cross, Deadline reports.

The new Terminator film is set to his theaters this Friday. Here’s a synopsis of the film: More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator – a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) – travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani’s survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah’s past that may be their last best hope.
