Jake Gyllenhaal poses for a photo with model Liya Kebede at a private dinner to celebrate their new Eternity Calvin Klein campaign on Thursday (October 19) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actor and the 39-year-old model portray a loving couple and parents to a young daughter in the new campaign, shot by Emmy-winning director Cary Fukunaga.

Also in attendance at the event were Jake‘s sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, actor Kyle MacLachlan and his wife Desiree Gruber, and Calvin Klein‘s Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons.

Director David Lynch and actor Kyle MacLachlan hit the red carpet together at the Twin Peaks premiere held at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 25) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The guys were joined by David‘s wife Emily Stofle, who appears in the series, and Kyle‘s wife Desiree Gruber for the event.

The two-hour season premiere of Twin Peaks was screened at the festival and received a lot of love from the audience with a five-minute standing ovation, according to Deadline.

Lynch even received more applause on the red carpet than stars like Will Smith!

Another famous director who was at the festival this year was Spike Lee, who was honored at the Wanderluxxe Gala benefiting Planned Parenthood. Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails by Casamigos Tequila. See photos in the gallery.

Octavia Spencer is very aware of the lack of diversity in Hollywood and she’s not afraid to speak up about it!

“Since making Hidden Figures, I don’t have a problem saying to a room of male executives: ‘I need a female writer or a female director,’ or ‘I need a black voice or a Latin voice’,” the 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress recently told the New York Times. “I do not feel bad about it.”

“The big boys were big boys,” Octavia added about speaking up in meetings in the past. “They heard me and encouraged me to have a voice, always listened to my needs. We as women should always ask for what we need and might be surprised that there might not be as much resistance as we perhaps perceive.”

Octavia rocked a sophisticated ensemble to attend the 2016 UNICEF Snowflake Ball last night, Tuesday (November 29), alongside Maggie Q, Tea Leoni, Patina Miller, Brooke Burke and her hubby David Charvet, Meryl Davis, Kyle MacLachlan and his wife Desiree Gruber at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

FYI: Octavia is wearing a black tuxedo jacket and matching pants by Laura Basci. Brooke is wearing a Rubin Singer gown.

Mariska Hargitay celebrates her Hamptons Magazine cover during a Memorial Day party hosted by mag publisher Jason Binn and his wife Haley on Sunday (May 30) in Southampton, New York.

The 46-year-old Law & Order: SVU star wore Michael Kors and was accompanied by her husband, director Peter Hermann (their adorable son August napped this one out).

Also in attendance and pictured below: Desperate Housewives actor Kyle MacLachan (with his wife, PR guru Desiree Gruber), Elle‘s creative director Joe Zee and Just Jared.

Later in the evening, Georgica Restaurant & Lounge opened for their sophomore summer in Wainscott, NY, hosting a bevy of celebrities including hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and model Jessica White (both pictured below).
