Timothee Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp walk the red carpet for the premiere of their movie The King on Tuesday (October 1) at the SVA Theatre in New York City.

The actors and real-life couple were joined at the event by their co-stars Joel Edgerton and Dean-Charles Chapman, as well as director David Michod.

Joel also co-wrote the upcoming Netflix film, which will hit theaters in limited release on October 11. The movie will start streaming on November 1.

1917 is the new World War I movie from Sam Mendes and it’s going to be a “one-shot movie,” which means it will look like one take from beginning to end.

The Oscar-winning director is opening up about directing the film in a new behind-the-scenes featurette that reveals the stunning way the movie was shot.

“The first World War starts with literally horses and carriages and ends with tanks. So it’s the moment where modern war, you can argue, begins. From the very beginning, I thought this movie should be told in real time. Every step of the journey, breathing every breath with these men felt integral, and there is no better way to tell this story than with one continuous shot,” Sam said.

Here is the film’s synopsis: At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.

1917 will hit theaters in limited release on December 25 and in wide release on January 10.

Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch all co-star in the movie.

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams step out looking stunning at the season six premiere of Game of Thrones held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday (April 10) in Hollywood.

The two young stars of the series were joined at the event by their co-stars Isaac Hempstead Wright, Eugene Simon, and Dean-Charles Chapman.

The guys were joined by their co-stars Michiel Huisman, Peter Dinklage, Alfie Allen, Dean-Charles Chapman, Liam Cunningham, Finn Jones, and co-creator/showrunner of David Benioff, who was accompanied by his wife Amanda Peet.
