Daniel Kaluuya Calls Out the Royal Family During His 'Saturday Night Live' Monologue

Daniel Kaluuya is calling out the Royal Family.

The 32-year-old Judas and the Black Messiah actor hosted Saturday Night Live and made some digs towards the Royal Family during the episode.

“I know you’re hearing my accent and thinking, ‘Oh no. He’s not Black. He’s British,’” Daniel said during his opening monologue. “I’m here to reassure you that I’m Black and I’m British. I’m what the royal family was worried the baby would look like.”

”Let me put it this way. British racism is so bad, white people left. They wanted to be free — free to create their own kinds of racisms. That’s why they invented Australia, South Africa and Boston,” he quipped.

His comments come a month after Meghan Markle‘s bombshell interview with Oprah, where she revealed that a member of the Royal Family was concerned about Archie‘s skin tone before he was born.

Daniel also joked about the technical difficulties he experienced during his 2021 Golden Globes speech!
