Courtney Love is showing her support for Britney Spears.
The Hole singer spoke with the New Yorker for Ronan Farrow and Jia Tolentino‘s bombshell expose on Britney‘s conservatorship, which was published Saturday morning (July 3).
In the interview, Courtney discussed Britney‘s ex-manager Sam Lufti and her business manager Lou Taylor. She followed up the interview with a cover of Britney‘s 2000 hit “Lucky.”

Courtney Love is revealing that she almost died last year.
The 56-year-old entertainer posted on Instagram to let fans know what happened in August of 2020.
“People, I’ve been sad, and extremely sick. Debilitated , in indescribable pain and in August at 97 pounds almost died in hospital from anemia( hemoglobin I had none),” Courtney posted on Instagram. “I was stigmatized for being an addict for 9 months by many ill-equipped drs, backwards drs and quacks. While in debilitating acute pain. Then I met the most empathic wise pain management dr. I’m so grateful!”
She added, “But I’m so good now. And on CBD oil. Which has removed ALMOST ALL the physical symptoms. And all the pain.”

Courtney Love is calling her brief fling with actor Steve Coogan back in 2005 one of her “life’s great shames.”
The 56-year-old entertainer posted a photo of the artwork for her debut solo album America’s Sweetheart with the caption, “Maybe one day I won’t hate that record. It has some good songs.”
She then added, “But like Steve Coogan, or crack, it’s one of my life’s great shames. Just the period, sloppiness, men, money, drugs, nightmare….although Chateau Miraval (where we made it) doesn’t suck.”
Courtney and Steve dated in 2005 for a rumored two weeks.
Courtney spoke about the romance to ES, saying, “All it was, was a couple of shags at the Sunset Marquis.”

The 28-year-old Plastic Hearts superstar delivered a cover of Hole’s 1991 single “Doll Parts” during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show, which aired Thursday (December 3).

Before the performance, Howard Stern declared the song one of his favorites, and asked if singer Courtney Love heard her version of the song yet.
“No, no one’s ever heard me do it. I never heard me do it until yesterday,” she explained.

Courtney Love has revealed she is 18 months sober!
The 55-year-old entertainer was in attendance at the 2020 NME Awards to receive the Icon Award, and announced the news on stage.
“I didn’t prepare any speech, sorry I didn’t mean to be disrespectful,” Courtney said in her speech.
“I woke up this morning and I asked a friend like ‘Is it the 11th?’ because also today, the honor of picking up this wonderful f—k you thing [the award is shaped like a middle finger] … I also have 18 months sober today,” she continued. “I can’t believe that. That’s pretty wild. Thank you so much I’m very honored.”
