Clark Gregg and Jennifer Grey have announced that they have separated after 19 years together.

The 58-year-old Marvel Cinematic Universe actor and the 60-year-old Dirty Dancing actress took to their social media accounts on Friday (July 3) to announce the sad news.

“After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we’d always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other. We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we’ve shared and the wonderful daughter we’ve raised,” the couple wrote in their joint statement.

They both added, “P.S. totally crying as we post this.”

Clark and Jennifer started dating in the summer of 2000 and they got married on the beach in Martha’s Vineyard in July 2001. Their daughter Stella, now 18, was born in December 2001.

Jennifer posted a sweet message for Clark on Father’s Day last month and the family was all together for Stella‘s high school graduation.

There have been lots of surprising breakups in Hollywood throughout the past month.

The stars were all in attendance at the ABC & Marvel Honors Stan Lee event at New Amsterdam Theatre on Monday (October 7) in New York City.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actors Jay August Richards, Ming Na Wen and Jeff Ward and Marvel editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski, ESPN sportscaster Elle Duncan and My Brother, My Brother and Me podcaster Travis and father Clint McElroy were all in attendance for the event.

New Warriors star Milana Vayntraub, Ironheart author Eve Ewing, The Good Fight‘s Nyambi Nyambi, Impractical Jokers‘ James Murray, Runaways stars James Yaegashi, Angel Parker and Annie Wersching, Michael Maize, Inhumans star Eme Ikwuakor, Marvel theme song composer Jack Urbont, Dashboard Confessional singer Chris Carraba, The Punisher co-creator Gerry Conway, Broad City alum Chris Gethard and The Amazing Spider-Man author Todd McFarlane and wife Wanda also attended the tribute.

The tribute, which was taped and hosted by Clark Gregg, will eventually be broadcasted on television.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Hiddleston walk the red carpet at the opening night of the new show Slave Play on Sunday night (October 6) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

Jake walked the carpet with his producing partner Riva Marker and Tom was seen meeting up with fellow Marvel star Clark Gregg, who attended the show with his father-in-law Joel Grey.

More stars in attendance for the starry opening night included Emily Ratajkowski, Rachel Brosnahan and husband Jason Ralph, Joker‘s Zazie Beetz, Lee Pace, music producer Mark Ronson, George Takei, 13 Reasons Why‘s Tommy Dorfman, and Tom‘s Betrayal co-star Zawe Ashton.

Lots of Broadway stars were also there, including Jagged Little Pill‘s Kathryn Gallagher and Elizabeth Stnaley, Tina‘s Adrienne Warren, Hadestown‘s Amber Gray and Andre De Shields, Beetlejuice‘s Sophia Anne Caruso, Come From Away‘s Jenn Colella, and Tony winner Tonya Pinkins.

Slave Play is running on Broadway now through January 5.

FX and National Geographic had their upfronts as part of the Disney Upfront Experience and stars there included Fargo‘s Chris Rock, Pose‘s Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez, Mayans M.C.‘s JD Pardo, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Kaitlin Olson, and Brain Games host Keegan-Michael Key. Also there was Lil Dicky, who has a comedy headed to FX.

The casts of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Cloak & Dagger join forces at the Avengers: Endgame world premiere!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen hit the purple carpet alongside Cloak & Dagger‘s Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph at the event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday (April 22) in Los Angeles.

They were joined by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, and Jeff Ward, as well as Cloak & Dagger‘s Emma Lahana and Ally Maki.

Also in attendance was Drake & Josh star Josh Peck.

Halsey strikes a pose on the red carpet at the premiere of Captain Marvel on Monday night (March 4) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 24-year-old singer sported a black, leather look as she was joined at the premiere by This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown.

The 29-year-old Oscar winner hit the red carpet at the event on Monday night (March 4) in Hollywood, Calif.
