Clancy Brown has been added to the cast of the Dexter reboot, The Wrap reports.

The 62-year-old actor will star as Kurt Caldwell, the “unofficial” mayor of Iron Lake, and also the main villain of the revived series.

Showtime adds to the character description, that Caldwell “realized the American dream by going from driving big rigs, just like his father did, to now owning several trucks and the local truck stop. Powerful, generous, loved by everyone — he’s a true man of the people. If he’s got your back, consider yourself blessed. But should you cross Kurt, or hurt anyone that he cares for, God help you.”

The revival is set for 10 episodes premiering in the fall, which will see Michael C. Hall returning in the title role.

The original Dexter series ran for eight seasons and many fans of the show, and cast, were not happy with how it ended.

Clancy is best known ass Kurgan in Highlander, Captain Byron Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, and the voice of Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob SquarePants.

The highly anticipated movie Promising Young Woman was supposed to be released in theaters back in April and now the film has finally been given a new release date!

The new film, starring Carey Mulligan, will hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020.

Here is the film’s synopsis: Everyone said Cassie (Mulligan) was a promising young woman… until a mysterious event abruptly derailed her future. But nothing in Cassie’s life is what it appears to be: she’s wickedly smart, tantalizingly cunning, and she’s living a secret double life by night. Now, an unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs of the past in this thrilling and wildly entertaining story.

Promising Young Woman was written and directed by Emerald Fennell, who was the showrunner for season two of Killing Eve.

Starring alongside Carey are Bo Burnham, Laverne Cox, Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chris Lowell, Sam Richardson, Molly Shannon, and Clancy Brown.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs just released an official trailer, which you can watch right here!

Ballad is a six-part Western anthology film by Joel and Ethan Coen, and is a series of tales about the American frontier. Each chapter tells a distinct story about the American West.

The cast includes Tyne Daly, James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, Bill Heck, Grainger Hines, Zoe Kazan, Harry Melling, Liam Neeson, Tim Blake Nelson, Jonjo O’Neill, Chelcie Ross, Saul Rubinek, Tom Waits, Clancy Brown, Jefferson Mays, Stephen Root and Willie Watson.

The film also received the Best Screenplay award at the 2018 Venice Film Festival.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will be released in select theaters and on Netflix on November 16.

Paula Patton is all smiles as she arrives at the premiere of her latest film Warcraft held at the TCL Chinese Theater IMAX on Monday (June 6) in Hollywood, Calif.
