The 37-year-old Even Stevens star revealed that she is five years sober in a video she shared to TikTok on Sunday (July 18).

Christy Carlson Romano is revealing a fun tidbit about Kim Possible!

The 35-year-old actress, who voiced the lead character in the Disney Channel series from 2002-2007, spoke at the Disney+ Pavilion at Disney’s 2019 D23 Expo on Sunday (August 25) in Anaheim, Calif.

At the event, Christy spilled that she was the one who came up with Kim’s famous line, “What’s the sitch?”

“They even wrote to my strengths sometimes – they would ask me questions like, ‘Hey, you now, what would you say if you were talking to your friends, would you say, what’s up, or whatever,’ and I’m like, ‘I guess you’d say like, what’s the sitch? I don’t know.’”

Christy‘s shows Kim Possible and Even Stevens will stream exclusively on Disney+, which launches on November 12!

“We went to the moon in 1969…”

Get ready for a throwback, vintage Disney Channel fans, because Christy Carlson Romano is bringing back an iconic moment from her former show Even Stevens.

The 35-year-old actress – with some help from former co-stars Lauren Frost, who played Ren’s BFF Ruby, and George Anthony Bell, who played Principal Wexler – recreated “We Went to the Moon in 1969″ in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

If you recall, the musical number was performed in season two’s iconic “Influenza: The Musical” episode in 2002.

They’re joined by a classroom full of dancers in Christy‘s living room.

Christy Carlson Romano is opening up about a dark time in her life.

The 35-year-old Kim Possible actress penned a personal essay for Teen Vogue, published on Tuesday (May 28).

“Many of you know me as the girl from that TV show or movie you once saw on the Disney Channel. Maybe you saw me on Broadway or in a Lifetime Movie. I am an actress and if you were going to define my ‘brand’ you might say I was ‘perfect’ or ‘pulled together.’ I’m here to throw a wrench at that image,” she wrote.

“I have largely suffered in silence…during a period of time in my life, I grappled with depression, drinking, and more, desperate to find fixes for how I felt.”

“I won’t be the last child actor to tell you the pitfalls of early-onset fame. But if I’ve learned anything from these experiences, it’s that being famous should come second to creating a life that you personally feel fulfilled with,” she wrote.

She detailed her time on Evan Stevens, and what happened afterward.

“Even Stevens ended the summer before my start at an Ivy League school that fall…my heart broke when I realized that I was never going to experience the teen-movie happy ending with a group of friends in a Jeep on their way to the beach. I felt like I failed myself, and the tape that had started playing years before now started to play louder, faster, and angrier.”

She also offered very helpful advice at the end of her essay.

“Anyone reading this, or anyone who decides to go into the entertainment business (including my daughters, should that time come), know this: having a clear understanding of your personal value helps to positively shape everything you do. If you don’t, if you aren’t careful, you just might end up getting what everyone else wishes for but wondering what you want yourself.”

The 34-year-old actress revealed the exciting news on her Instagram on Wednesday (February 20).

And her name is…Sophia Elizabeth Rooney!

“Welcome to the world, Sophia Elizabeth Rooney ❤️ Born 7lbs 2oz on 2/18 at 1:27 PM. @thebrendanrooney @isabellavrooney and I love you infinitely ♾️ We are already marveling at your grace and beauty, just like when your sister was born. We cannot wait to watch our bright shining stars journey down the path of sisterhood together ⭐️⭐️,” Christy wrote.

Christy and Brendan welcomed their first daughter, Isabella, in 2016.

Sadie plays the title role in the new movie, a character who Christy originated in the Disney Channel animated series.

Christy is currently pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Brendan Rooney. She plays the role of Poppy Blu in the new Disney Channel Original Movie, which premieres this Friday.

Christy Carlson Romano and her husband Brendan Rooney just announced they’re expecting their second child!

The couple revealed that their new addition is due in late February, but aren’t ready to share the sex just yet.

“We are so excited, we just can’t keep this a secret any longer! @thebrendanrooney and I are thrilled to announce that we’re expecting again!” the couple wrote on Instagram.

Christy and Brendan included a sweet photo of their one-year-old daughter Isabella fast asleep in their bed.

“Shhh… Don’t tell her she’s gonna have to share her toys soon!” Christy added.

She continued, “I always wanted two kids and I feel so blessed to have this experience again. My husband and I are overjoyed that our little girl is going to have a sibling.”
