Netflix has debuted the trailer for the upcoming animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation!

The first part of the season, which will consist of five episodes, will debut on the streaming service on July 23.

The reboot of the classic franchise, which serves as a sequel to the 80s series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, was developed by Kevin Smith.

Here is the official synopsis: “The war for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.”

Melissa Benoist is love being a new momma!

The 32-year-old Supergirl actress spoke about her newborn son, Huxley Wood, in a brand new interview.

“Oh, man, he’s the best,” Melissa gushed about her son during an Instagram Live video with Congresswoman Karen Bass. “I am loving being a parent. I love being a mom. He’s such a sweetheart.”

She added that Huxley is already “so big and every day I’m, like, crying because he’s gained half an ounce.”

Melissa also opened up about the plans for Huxley‘s first holiday – Halloween.

“We’ll probably watch movies…It’s a bummer we’re not gonna get any trick-or-treaters [amid the coronavirus pandemic], but it’s for a good reason,” she shared.

Melissa and husband Chris Wood welcomed Huxley in last month, and waited a few weeks to announce his arrival.

“Huxley Robert Wood got here a few weeks ago ♥️ and this little boy is everything,” she wrote.

Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood are parents!

The 31-year-old actress and the 32-year-old actor, who met while working together on Supergirl, have welcomed their first child into the world.

Melissa and Chris both took to Instagram on Friday (September 25) to announce the birth of their son Huxley, who arrived a few weeks ago.

“Huxley Robert Wood got here a few weeks ago ♥️ and this little boy is everything,” Melissa captioned a photo on her page.

Chris added, “Our son was born his name is Huxley he’s amazing and no it’s probably none of your business xo brb see you in 18 years.”

Melissa announced her pregnancy back in March and then in May, she opened up about white privilege and how this isn’t the world she wants for her child.

Some sad news was just revealed about the future of Supergirl.

“A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!! 😱😆😭 @christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he’s going to be a real one,” Melissa captioned her photo on Instagram. The pic features her pups, plus her and Chris holding baby photos!

Just a few months ago, Melissa made the brave reveal that she is a survivor of domestic violence and Chris showed his support for her sharing her story.

Chris Wood is leaving his supernatural past and moving onto ABC’s thirtysomething(else).

Deadline reports that the 31-year-old actor, and husband of Melissa Benoist, is the first new actor joining the pilot.

thirtysomething(else) will follow an ensemble of new faces playing the grown-up children of the original cast, the new generation of thirtysomethings.

Chris will play Leo Steadman, Hope and Michael’s son and Janey’s brother. Good-looking and charming (not unlike his father), Leo is so intent on becoming a “big deal” like his father that he skips steps along the way. His talent and grand ideas are tripped up by his lack of focus and follow-through.

Original cast members of thirtysomething Ken Olin, Mel Harris, Timothy Busfield and Patty Wettig will also star in the series in supporting roles.

Just recently, Chris celebrated the 100th episode of SuperGirl with Melissa.

The cute couple were joined by their Supergirl co-stars Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines, Julie Gonzalo, Andrea Brooks, Staz Nair, Elizabeth Tulloch, and Azie Tesfai.

Also in attendance were Executive Producer Greg Berlanti, President of Warner Bros Television Peter Roth, and CW Network President Mark Pedowitz.

Supergirl‘s 100th episode will be season five’s upcoming 13th episode, which is set to air in February 2020.

Chris Wood is making sure his wife Melissa Benoist feels loved after a brave admission.

The 31-year-old Supergirl star showed his support for his 31-year-old co-star and wife in a message for Thanksgiving (November 28).

“Happy Thanksgiving! I’m going to kiss my wife and hold her tenderly. All day. And every day. How do YOU show love? #IStandWithMelissa,” he tweeted, using the hashtag many fans and stars trended to voice their support.

If you didn’t know, Melissa revealed in an emotional video on Wednesday (November 27) that she is a survivor of domestic violence, and detailed the abuse she experienced in a past relationship.
