Chris Colfer Reveals Naya Rivera's 'Incredible' Hidden Talent

Chris Colfer is reflecting on his friendship with Naya Rivera.

During a new interview with E!’s Daily Pop, the 30-year-old actor and author revealed one of his favorite things the late actress did when he needed some cheering up.

“A lot of people probably don’t know this,” Chris shared. “But Naya had the most incredible impressions and she was always, always ready to give you one if you were in a bad mood.”

Chris then revealed this favorite impression Naya used to do.

“She had this one of Kim Kardashian on jury duty,” Chris explained, saying it “always make me belly laugh whenever I needed one.”

Chris and Naya starred together on Glee from 2009 to 2015.

The other day, another former Glee star remembered the “greatest thing” about Naya.

Chris Colfer Wonders How Naya Rivera Could Be So Talented; Calls Her A 'Dream' In Beautiful New Tribute

Chris Colfer continued his touching tribute to Naya Rivera with an essay on Variety.

“I’m not sure anyone on Earth could give Naya Rivera the tribute she deserves,” the 30-year-old author and actor pondered, although many have tried to.

Chris goes on, saying that “the process of losing her has been such a nightmare, I find myself wondering if Naya was even real or if she was just a dream all along. How could a human being be that talented, that hilarious and that beautiful at once? How could one person be responsible for so much joy and be the subject of so many wonderful memories?”

He also reflected on how she amazed him with her skills on the set of Glee.

“…Her heroic and groundbreaking portrayal of Santana Lopez on Glee inspired millions of young people around the world, especially in the LGBTQIA community, and it will be treasured for generations to come,” Chris wrote. “Naya also had a superhuman ability to memorize scripts. With one glance, she would know all her lines and yours — which came in handy when you acted alongside her. Sometimes, I’d become so lost in Naya’s performance, I’d forget I was in the scene with her.”

Naya Rivera's Friends & Family Gather at Lake Piru in Heartbreaking Image

ABC7 Eyewitness News caught a heartbreaking moment featuring Naya Rivera‘s family and friends on site at Lake Piru in California just before it was announced that a body was found during the search for the missing Glee star.

It appeared as if Naya‘s loved ones gathered and stood hand-in-hand together, looking out on the large body of water where search and rescue divers are looking for the Glee star. She went missing on Wednesday (July 8) in the lake after going boating with her four-year-old son Josey. Josey told authorities that his mom never came back to the boat after swimming.

Fans think they identified Glee co-stars Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, and Jenna Ushkowitz as part of the group that were there to support during the search.

No further updates have been given by authorities and we are awaiting a press conference shortly. Naya‘s Glee co-stars have also been posting messages about her today after news that a body was found.

Our thoughts are with all of Naya Rivera‘s loved ones.

Amber Riley, Kevin McHale & More 'Glee' Stars Defend Why They Haven't Publicly Said Anything About Naya Rivera

Some Twitter aren’t happy that some Glee stars have chosen to keep quiet as the search remains for Naya Rivera, who went missing last week after a lake trip in California.

Now, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, and more have spoken out about why they chose to be silent while others have sent prayers and other comments about Naya.

“I haven’t seen not one of the GLEE CAST MEMBERS POST ABT NAYA EXCEPT FOR @HeatherMorrisTV AND @dotmariejones y’all a need to do better @LeaMichele @JennaUshkowitz @chriscolfer,” one Twitter user wrote, sparking the conversation of why they didn’t.

Amber was one of the first to clap back at her own reason – because it’s not about her. It’s about Naya.

“Show some respect. All our energy is going toward helping find Naya and praying for her safe return and for her family. No one owes anyone online a performance of grief,” she wrote. “This is very real and devastating. Focus on Naya and her family. Not us. We don’t matter right now.”

Fans also came to Chris Colfer‘s defense, who hadn’t posted anything about Naya’s disappearnce.

One wrote, “I just want to tell you that you don’t owe us anything, we love you and we’re here to support you and your friends who are going through so much pain right now, I’m sorry if there are people who have made you feel like you can’t grieve at peace, we love you ❤”

Years ago, Chris also opened up about how he personally mourned losing Cory Monteith, who passed away seven years ago tomorrow, and his statement is just as relevant right now.
