The 38-year-old country music superstar looked absolutely stunning in a black and white sparkling suit as she performed during the awards show on Wednesday night (June 9) from the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tenn.
Joining Carrie on stage was the music group NEEDTOBREATHE and they all performed their brand new duet “I Wanna Remember.”
Shortly after the performance, Carrie found out she took home the top honor of the night, winning Video of the Year for her duet “Hallelujah” with John Legend.
“Fans, thank you so much, fans,” Carrie said while accepting the award. “You guys, you are the reason we are all here doing what we do, doing what we love, making music videos.”
“John Legend, thank you for sending me this incredible song and agreeing to sing with me on it and making this incredible video that I am so proud of, and congratulations on what I think is your first CMT Award!” she continued, adding, “God bless you guys. Thank you so much! Thank you, fans! Thank you, CMT!”
The 38-year-old country superstar looking dazzling in a sparkling, blush-colored gown while performing at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards airing on Sunday (April 18) from Nashville, Tenn.
Carrie started off her medley with an a cappella rendition of “Amazing Grace” before she was joined by a choir while singing “How Great Thou Art.” Gospel legend CeCe Winans then joined Carrie on stage where they sang “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “The Old Rugged Cross.”

Carrie Underwood just made her debut at the Latin American Music Awards and she looked amazing on the red carpet!
The 38-year-old country singer and former American Idol winner wore a butterfly gown while arriving for the 2021 awards show on Thursday (April 15) at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla.
Carrie was at the show to perform her song “Tears of Gold” alongside Spanish crooner David Bisbal. She hit the stage in a black and gold look later in the night!
Carrie Underwood‘s latest album My Savior is here and it contains covers of her favorite traditional gospel hymns!
The 38-year-old former American Idol winner performed the songs in a unique pastiche of musical styles from classic country to folk, bluegrass, and gospel.
“This is an album I have always wanted to record and I’m thrilled to be able to bring these uplifting, inspirational songs to life in this special way,” Carrie said.
To celebrate the new album, Carrie is performing the music during a virtual live concert performance on Easter Sunday (April 4). The event will stream live for free on her Facebook page at 11:00am central time with donations benefiting Save the Children.
Carrie said, “It means so much to be able to bring this event to people in their homes on a day that holds so much meaning for us spiritually and to be able to raise much needed funds and awareness for the incredible work of Save the Children as we celebrate the importance of family.”

The country superstar turned 38 on Wednesday (March 10) and got lots of love from hubby Mike Fisher and their two sons, Isaiah, 6, and Jacob, 2.
The 40-year-old retired hockey pro took to his Instagram Story to show off the “perfect” and hilarious gift he gave his wife.
In the photo, Carrie makes a not so amused face while wearing a shirt that has “I Don’t Need Google My Husband Knows Everything” written across it.
Along with the pic, Mike also wrote, “Perfect gift no.”
Over on her own Instagram Story, Carrie showed off the cute handwritten cards her sons wrote for her along with a bouquet of flowers she received from them.
Later in the day, Mike shared a sweet photo of Carrie posing in front of her birthday cake.
“Happy birthday @carrieunderwood !! the boys and I love you like crazy!! We are so grateful for you!!” Mike captioned the post.
The two musicians’ new collaboration, “Hallelujah”, which is featured on her new album My Gift, will be the theme song for the Empire State Building’s annual music and light show.
The Empire State Building shared a sneak peek clip at the show, and at the end, Carrie offers a special holiday message for fans.
“I love this song because I feel like it encompasses so much about Christmas,” she shares. “You have this love aspect of it, it just feels like Christmas, it just makes you smile and to say ‘Hallelujah’ is just beautiful.”
The light show, created by renowned lighting designer Marc Brickman, will be unveiled in full on Saturday, December 19, and will continue to be synced live each night at 8/7c through Christmas Day.
