Zazie Beetz strikes a pose on the blue carpet while arriving at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at the pier in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 29-year-old Joker actress looked pretty in a white, ruffled dress covered in red hearts as she was joined at the event by longtime love David Rysdahl.

The music mockumentary The Nowhere Inn, staring Carrie Brownstein and St. Vincent as themselves, debuted at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and the movie happens to feature a cameo appearance from Dakota Johnson!

In the film, the stars play versions of themselves and Carrie is directing a documentary about St. Vincent‘s life on tour.

Dakota shows up in a hotel room scene. Variety reports that “St. Vincent begs Brownstein’s character to shoot a sensual scene of her and Johnson, both clad in matching lingerie, with her iPhone.”

St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clark, told the outlet that Dakota was “a really great sport for what was a very strange ask. I think it was originally, like, ‘Dakota will you play my girlfriend?’”

Carrie added, “It wasn’t like, ‘Will you put on lingerie and come hang out?’”

While the scene was an intimate one, they said they didn’t have an intimacy coordinator as there wasn’t an actual sex scene.

St. Vincent, Paul Bettany, and Bella Heathcote walk the red carpet at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival during the premieres of their respective movies on Saturday (January 25) in Park City, Utah.

St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clark, was joined by co-star Carrie Brownstein and director Bill Benz for the premiere of their new music drama The Nowhere Inn, in which they play themselves.

Paul was at the festival for the premiere of his film Uncle Frank, where he was joined by writer and director Alan Ball (known for creating True Blood) and co-stars Sophia Lillis, Britt Rentschler, Cole Doman, and Stephen Root.

Bella premiered her new movie Relic at the festival with co-stars Emily Mortimer and Robyn Nevin as well as director and co-writer Natalie Erika James and co-writer Christian White.

Andrea Riseborough and Christopher Abbott were at the festival that day with director and writer Brandon Cronenberg for the premiere of their film Possessor.

Alec Baldwin is the executive producer of a new film called Beast Beast and he joined director and writer Danny Madden and cast members Shirley Chen, Will Madden, Jose Angeles, Courtney Dietz, Daniel Rashid, Anissa Matlock, and Stephen Ruffin at the premiere.

Olivia Wilde happily strikes a pose alongside her hubby Jason Sudeikis on the red carpet at the 2018 Sexy Beast Gala: A Benefit For Planned Parenthood held at The Marciano Art Foundation Los Angeles on Saturday (October 20) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress and Jason, 43, were joined at the event by Jaime King, Grace Gummer, Ali Larter, Zoe Lister Jones, Kat Graham, Carrie Brownstein, Jennifer Tilly and Este Haim.

The evening featured a silent auction with coveted art and design lots, musical performance by Moses Sumney with special guest Kelsey Lu, dance performance by No)one. Art House, installations by Jennifer Steinkamp, Tofer Chin, and Dorian Lynde and pop-up shop by fashion boutique LCD with specially curated Sexy Beast goodies.

“Artist Jenny Holzer was honored last night at the incredible Sexy Beast Gala for @plannedparenthood,” Olivia captioned with her Instagram post. “These are some of my favorite pieces of hers. The last one, from her ‘Inflammatory Essays’, truly blows my mind. Let’s project it onto the White House, on behalf of women everywhere.”

Ike Barinholtz and Tiffany Haddish happily strike a pose together on the red carpet while attending the LA Film Festival World Premiere Gala screening of their film The Oath held on Tuesday (September 25) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actor and Tiffany, 38, were joined at the event by their co-stars John Cho, Chris Ellis, Nora Dunn, Carrie Brownstein, Jon Barinholtz, Meredith Hagner and the film’s producers Raymond Mansfield and Sean McKittrick.

Also in attendance to show their support was Ike‘s former The Mindy Project co-stars Mindy Kaling, B.J.
