Carole Baskin is celebrating Joe Exotic not being released from prison.

If you didn’t know, Joe is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for trying to pay an assassin $3,000 to kill Carole. He was sent to prison in 2019.

After the success of the Netflix docu-series Tiger King, Joe was convinced that former President Donald Trump wold pardon him before leaving office.

However, when Trump announced his list of presidential pardons on Tuesday (January 19), Joe‘s name was not on it.

His team then released a statement from Joe on Twitter, writing, “I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first.”

While Joe might be devastated that he wasn’t pardoned, Carole is glad that will remain behind bars.

“I think only Joe’s team and the media were ever even thinking about a pardon for Joe,” Carole told BuzzFeed News.

“There is no benefit, other than a feeble attempt to deflect attention, for anyone to pardon someone who walked up to five tigers and shot them in the head in order to clear cage space for the circus, who was going to pay him to board their tigers during the offseason,” Carole continued. “Tigers are the world’s favorite animal and Joe Schreibvogel Maldonado Passage is right where he belongs: in a cage.”

There’s been a scary incident at Tiger King star Carole Baskin‘s Big Cat Rescue animal sanctuary.

Volunteer Candy Couser, who has been volunteering at the non-profit for five years, nearly had her arm torn off by a male tiger Kimba during feeding, according to a press release on Thursday (December 3).

“Kimba had been locked away from that section for several days as cameras were being installed there. She opened a guillotine tunnel door at one end of the tunnel, and when she went to raise the second door, she saw it was clipped shut. This is our universal signal NOT to open a gate without the coordinator coming to assist, but Candy said she just wasn’t thinking when she reached in to un-clip it. It is against our protocols for anyone to stick any part of their body into a cage with a cat in it. Kimba grabbed her arm and nearly tore it off at the shoulder,” the press release explained.

“Jane heard the commotion and came running. Kimba dropped his grip and Candy fell away from the side of the tunnel. Gina being a nurse held off the artery under Candy‘s armpit to stop the bleeding and Marc, who had pulled Candy to safety, used his belt as a tourniquet as others called for an ambulance. Gina packed her arm in ice packs to try and save it. The ambulance arrived within 15-20 minutes of the accident. Candy was still conscious and insisted that she did not want Kimba Tiger to come to any harm for this mistake. He is being placed in quarantine for the next 30 days as a precaution, but was just acting normal due to the presence of food and the opportunity.”

Carole Baskin reminded everyone that “this sort of tragedy can happen in the blink of an eye and that we cannot relax our guard for a second around these dangerous cats.”

“This happened on the day our federal bill to ban cub handling and private possession comes to the House floor for a vote. The fact that, despite our intense safety protocols and excellent record of safety, an injury like this can occur just confirms the inherent danger in dealing with these animals and why we need the Big Cat Public Safety Act to eliminate having them untracked in backyards around the country and ending up in sanctuaries where wonderful people like Candy Couser have committed themselves to providing care for those discarded by the pay to play industry.”

On Thursday night (October 29), the 40-year-old reality star took to her Instagram Story to share a ton of pics of her family getting ready for a party – and their costumes are Tiger King-themed!

For her costume, Kim dressed as Carole Baskin, wearing a long, blonde wig with a flower crown and leopard-print outfit.

Kim‘s BFF Jonathan Cheban transformed into Joe Exotic, complete with a bleached-blonde mullet, handlebar mustache, eyebrow piercing, and bedazzled shirt.

Kim dress her kids North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 16 months, all in tiger cub outfits.

Earlier in the night, Kim revealed the over the top gift husband Kanye West gave her for her birthday.

Carole Baskin is coming out.

The 59-year-old Tiger King star confirmed that she is bisexual in an interview with PinkNews.

Carole told the outlet that she discovered her truth back during the AIDS crisis in the ’80s when she was spending a lot of time with the LGBTQ community.

“I was engaged to a psychologist, and that was his entire field, dealing with the LGBT+ community. It was during the period when AIDS was just wreaking havoc around the world, and people were losing their loved ones, and so I became very close to people in that community then,” she said.

“I have always considered myself to be bisexual. Even though I’ve never had a wife, I could just as easily have a wife as a husband as far as the way I feel about us. I think that we are all one and that we are all…I just don’t see us as being different genders or different colors or different anything,” she continued.

She recently ended her journey on Dancing With The Stars – find out which song she danced to at the end of her run.

Carole Baskin is the second celebrity to be eliminated from season 29 of Dancing With the Stars and she kept to her “big cats” theme for all three of her performances on the show.

The Tiger King star’s journey on DWTS came to an end on Monday night (September 28) after she performed a samba to the tune of “Circle Of Life” from The Lion King.

Carole and her partner Pasha Pashkov were both dressed as lions for the dance, which earned them a score of 12 out of 30 points.

While she was saying her goodbyes at the end of the night, Carole said she is looking forward to getting home to her husband Howard.

Don Lewis‘s family is taking Carole Baskin to court.

TMZ reports that the animal activist, and current Dancing With The Stars contestant, is being sued by Don‘s daughters, Gale, Lynda and Donna, for defamation after watching her make jokes about his mysterious disappearance.

The legal docs, filed by the daughters and Don‘s former assistant Anne McQueen, state that Carole was “complicit with jokes about Don’s death on Dancing With The Stars, when judges brought up TikTok videos inspired by her storyline in Tiger King.”

Anne says that instead of participating in the jokes, Carole should have said something to stop them.

Don‘s family is also accusing Carole of being complicit with jokes about Don during her interview on Good Morning America when she promised to “really kill it next week”.

Just last week, the family, with their lawyer, John Phillips, aired a commercial during the premiere episode of DWTS for new tips on the whereabouts of Don, who went missing in 1997.
