The two actresses first starred in Wildlife together back in 2018 and a new report revealed that they’re back together to work on a drama movie called She Said.

Carey Mulligan‘s date to the Oscars was her husband Marcus Mumford and he shared some photos from the night on his Instagram… including a peek at the souvenir he took home!
The 34-year-old Mumford & Sons rocker appears to have taken the Oscars-themed lampshade that was sitting on their table at the event.
Marcus is seen holding the lampshade in his hands while riding in a van after the show. He also documented some other moments from the night, including how he used Chanel eyepatches to prepare for the show.

Carey was nominated for Best Actress for her work in the movie Promising Young Woman, though the award went to Frances McDormand for Nomadland.

2021 Oscars red carpet had a lot of fashion trends tonight, and one of the biggest ones that JustJared spotted were stars dressing in head to toe gold!
Best Actress nominees Andra Day and Carey Mulligan, as well as Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Song nominee Leslie Odom, Jr., were wearing the metallic color from the top all the way to the bottom.

Carey Mulligan is absolutely stunning in Oscars gold on the red carpet at the 2021 Academy Awards on Sunday (April 25) at Union Station in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old actress – who is nominated this evening for her work in Promising Young Woman in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category – was joined on the red carpet by her husband Marcus Mumford. You may recognize Marcus as the lead singer of the band Mumford & Sons! Marcus went viral a few years ago for what he did during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal wedding!

Carey Mulligan will be attending the 2021 Oscars tonight as a Best Actress nominee and can you believe this will only be her second time at the awards show?!
The 35-year-old actress has been around in Hollywood for over a decade, but the only time she ever appeared at the Oscars was when she was nominated back in 2010. She never returned to present.
Carey previously was nominated for Best Actress in 2010 for her work in the movie An Education and she walked the red carpet with her mom, as well as co-star Peter Sarsgaard and his partner Maggie Gyllenhaal.
This year, Carey is nominated for her work in Promising Young Woman and she’s definitely a favorite to win, though the category is so unpredictable this year.
FYI: Carey wore a Prada black strapless dress with a voluminous skirt and train in “Raso Doppio Tec” – a unique material made of silk and for a modern look.
She paired her look with a black duchess satin hard case clutch and black pleated duchesse platform heels, also by Prada.

The 2021 Oscars are this weekend and while there are frontrunners in plenty of categories, there’s one category in particular that is still very unpredictable.
The Best Actress award could go to any of the five nominees and there is no clear winner right now. Leading up to the Academy Awards, there are four big awards shows that serve as pre-cursors to help predict who will win the Oscar. These four awards are the Golden Globe, the Critics Choice Award, the SAG Award, and the BAFTA.
All four of those awards went to different women this year!
