Shia LaBeouf & Noah Jupe Join 'Honey Boy' Team at Spirit Awards 2020!

Shia LaBeouf and Noah Jupe hit the blue carpet at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at the pier in Santa Monica, Calif.

The guys are both nominated for Best Supporting Male for their work in the movie Honey Boy.

Also joining the guys are the event were co-star Byron Bowers, director Alma Har’el, and cinematographer Natasha Braier.

Alma is up for Best Director and Natasha is nominated for Best Cinematography. The film was sadly snubbed by the Oscars.

Sam Rockwell, Chrissy Metz, & More Honor the Best Directors at DGA Awards 2020!

Sam Rockwell and Chrissy Metz appear on stage at the 2020 Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday (January 25) at the Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles.

Sam was at the event to honor his Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi, who was nominated for Best Director. Parasite‘s Bong Joon-ho received a tribute from the film’s star Lee Jeong-eun and The Irishman‘s Martin Scorsese (who did not attend) received a tribute from Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

Leonardo DiCaprio was at the event to honor Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Quentin Tarantino while Sam Mendes won the Best Director award for 1917.

Honey Boy director Alma Har’el went home with the First-Time Feature Film Director award, which was presented by Catherine Hardwicke.

Bill Hader won Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for his work on Barry.

Some more nominated directors in attendance included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, Queen & Slim‘s Melina Matsoukas, AtlanticsMati Diop, When They See UsAva DuVernay, El Camino‘s Vince Gilligan, and Fosse/Verdon‘s Thomas Kail.

More stars in attendance included Anthony Anderson, Constance Zimmer, Terry Crews, Katheryn Winnick, Byron Bowers, Judd Apatow, and Christine Lahti.

'Booksmart' Stars Win Big at Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2020!

Olivia Wilde accepts one of her several awards at the 2020 Hollywood Critics’ Association Awards on Thursday night (January 9) at Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles.

Booksmart was a big winner at the event with Olivia taking home Best Female Director, the movie tying for Best Comedy/Musical and Kaitlyn Dever winning Best Performance by an Actress 23 and Under. Olivia was also honored with the Trailblazer Award!

Also in attendance at the event were Jojo Rabbit‘s Taika Waititi (winner of Best Adapted Screenplay), Honey Boy director Alma Har’el (winner of Best First Feature) with the film’s actor Byron Bowers, The Farewell‘s Shuzhen Zhao, Parasite director Bong Joon-ho (winner of Best Original Screenplay), The Peanut Butter Falcon‘s Zack Gottsagen (winner of the Newcomer Award), and Richard Jewell‘s Paul Walter Hauser (winner of the Game Changer Award).

The “Next Generation of Hollywood” was honored at the event and some of the recipients who attended included Kaitlyn, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Geraldine Viswanathan, Brooklynn Prince, Millicent Simmonds, Mckenna Grace, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Thomasin McKenzie.

BFFs Natasha Lyonne & Chloe Sevigny Buddy Up at Gotham Awards 2019!

Natasha Lyonne and Chloe Sevigny pose together on the red carpet at the 2019 IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (December 2) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Natasha‘s Netflix show Russian Doll was nominated for Breakthrough Series – Short Format, but the award went to Hulu’s PEN15.

Waves co-stars Renee Elise Goldsberry and Kelvin Harrison Jr. were both at the event and Kelvin went on stage to accept Taylor Russell‘s Breakthrough Actor award as she wasn’t able to attend.

Renee also met up with her former Hamilton co-star Daveed Diggs, who was a presenter.

More stars at the event included Vera Farmiga, Uma Thurman with designer Zac Posen, Richard Jewell actor Paul Walter Hauser, married couple Carrie Coon and Tracy Letts, Honey Boy director Alma Har’el and star Byron Bowers, Paul Sparks and Annie Parisse, Djimon Hounsou, Aisha Tyler, and playwright Jeremy O. Harris.

FYI: Chloe is wearing a Givenchy dress. Guests at the event sipped on Robert Hall Winery wines.

Jake Gyllenhaal Hosts 'Honey Boy' Screening in NYC

Jake Gyllenhaal is joined by Honey Boy director Alma Har’el as he hosts a screening of the new movie on Saturday (November 9) at The Roxy Hotel in New York City.

Also joining Jake at the screening was cast member Byron Bowers and Broad City actor Arturo Castro.

The film starring Shia LaBeouf and Lucas Hedges brings to life a young actor’s stormy childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father and deal with his mental health.

Shia LaBeouf Wears an Over-Sized Blue Suit at 'Honey Boy' Premiere with Noah Jupe

Shia LaBeouf poses with his young co-star Noah Jupe at the premiere of their new movie Honey Boy on Tuesday (November 5) at the Arclight in Hollywood.

The actors were joined at the event by director Alma Har’el and co-star Byron Bowers.

Shia wrote the film about his own life experiences and he stars in the movie as the character inspired by his own father. Noah and Lucas Hedges share the role inspired by Shia.

Honey Boy, which hits theaters in limited release on November 8, has been earning rave reviews and it currently is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with 96%.

Shia LaBeouf Joins His 'Honey Boy' Co-Stars Lucas Hedges & Noah Jupe at TIFF Premiere

Shia LaBeouf suits up while walking the red carpet at the Honey Boy premiere held during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

The 33-year-old actor wrote the film and based it on his own experiences as a child actor. He even plays the role inspired by his father.

The character inspired by Shia is played by Lucas Hedges at age 22 and Noah Jupe at age 12. They joined him at the premiere, as did co-star Byron Bowers and director Alma Har’el.
