One of Brooklyn Beckham‘s ex-girlfriends is reacting to news of his engagement to Nicola Peltz.

Lexy Panterra opened up in a new interview about her relationship with the 21-year-old photographer, and voiced her doubts about his engagement.

The 30-year-old hip-hop artist first met Brooklyn back in 2017 at Coachella. They went on to date for about a year before splitting up.

“I don’t want to say exactly why we split,” Lexy shared with The Sun. “I don’t want to bash him. The long distance thing was a factor for sure.”

At the time, Brooklyn was splitting his time between New York City and England while Lexy lived in Los Angeles.

“It was a relationship that I could never take seriously, to be honest. The age gap was a big deal. You can tell immediately that he is a little immature,” Lexy continued. “He was everything that you could imagine a young adult would be, at times a little bit more. Sometimes you just get fed up.”

Lexy went on to say that she was “shocked and confused” after Brooklyn announced that he was engaged to Nicola, 25, after nine months of dating.

“It’s not something anyone was expecting and, honestly, Brooklyn is not ready for that. He is very young and way too immature,” Lexy said. “I don’t know why he falls in love every few minutes. There is no consistency in his relationships. He has a new chick every month, so it’s surprising he would try to do this.”

News. “Beauty and precision are hallmarks of the emerald cut engagement ring. The cut’s long lines give the stone its elegant and sophisticated look.”

She estimated that “the value of the ring to be about $150,000 – $200,000.”

The 21-year-old photographer, who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham, has popped the question to his girlfriend, Transformers actress Nicola Peltz, 25.

“Brooklyn has been telling his friends in LA that he and Nicola are engaged. It’s common knowledge among their group of friends. They are smitten,” a source told The Mirror.

A source close to the family added, “David and Victoria have very much given this relationship their blessing. It’s a very exciting time for the whole family and after a few previous rocky relationships, they think Brooklyn has landed on his feet.”

Brooklyn and Nicola have been dating for about ten months. He was previously linked to actress Chloe Moretz, social media star Lexy Panterra, and model Hana Cross. She has previously dated model Anwar Hadid and LANY frontman Paul Klein.

Early on in the quarantine period, Brooklyn was spotted going shirtless while playing soccer with his dad and brothers in Florida.
