Every Movie Melissa McCarthy Has Made with Husband Ben Falcone, the Director of 'Thunder Force'

Melissa McCarthy‘s new movie Thunder Force is streaming now on Netflix and the film’s writer and director is someone very special to her… husband Ben Falcone!

Did you know that Melissa and Ben have been teaming up on movies for years? This marks their fifth movie in which she has starred and he has directed.

In addition to all of their creative collaborations, Ben has acted alongside Melissa in five other movies. We’re recapping all 10 of these films in the list below.

Melissa and Ben met while appearing in the Los Angeles-based comedy troupe The Groundlings and they got married in 2005. They are the parents to two daughters, Vivian and Georgette. Both of the girls made an appearance in their 2016 movie The Boss.

Melissa McCarthy's 'Thor: Love & Thunder' Character Revealed in Set Photos Alongside Matt Damon (Spoilers!)

Spoilers ahead! Don’t continue reading if you don’t want to see potential spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder.

Melissa McCarthy, Matt Damon, and Luke Hemsworth were photographed on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder for the first time!

They were photographed while filming on Tuesday (March 2) in Sydney, Australia. It appears as if the Thor movies are continuing the tradition of putting on a play within a play.

Melissa appeared to be in costume as Hela, the character played by Cate Blanchett in Thor: Ragnarok. It also appeared as if Matt Damon is reprising his role as Loki and Luke Hemsworth will once again be playing Thor in the play within the play. Luke‘s brother Chris Hemsworth plays Thor in the movies!

Melissa McCarthy & Husband Ben Falcone to Star In & Executive Produce Netflix Comedy Series 'God's Favorite Idiot'

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are teaming up for a new Netflix comedy series!

The married duo will be starring in and executive producing the workplace comedy God’s Favorite Idiot, which has already been given a 16-episode order, Deadline reports. Ben also created the series.

Here’s the show’s synopsis: “God’s Favorite Idiot follows Clark Thompson (Falcone), a midlevel tech-support employee who finds love with co-worker Amily Luck (McCarthy) at exactly the same time he becomes the unwitting messenger of God. Also, there’s rollerskating, a lake of fire and an impending apocalypse.”

This will be Melissa and Ben‘s sixth project together. They executive produced and appeared in the comedy series Nobodies along with Bridesmaids, Tammy, The Boss, and Life of the Party.

The 50-year-old two-time Oscar nominated actress appeared for a virtual interview on Ellen airing on Thursday (November 19).

While chatting with Ellen, Melissa revealed that her husband has a crush on Harry Styles.

“He really does. He’s fallen pretty hard for Harry Styles,” Melissa shared. “It’s not a bad choice, but sometimes I’m just waiting for him to be like, ‘If you could cut your hair a little shorter…’”

“As if me cutting my hair would make me a dead ringer for Harry Styles!” Melissa joked. “I would just look more tragic, oh god.”

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are celebrating their wedding anniversary!

The 50-year-old two-time Oscar nominated actress and the 47-year-old actor/director are celebrating 15 years of marriage on Wednesday, October 7.

The cute couple both took to Instagram in honor of their big day.

“15 years ago today I married the kindest, funniest and weirdest human I’ve ever met. Grateful every single day!!!” Melissa wrote along with two throwback pics of the couple.

Ben also took to Instagram to share a pic of Melissa dressed up in a flower crown and holding two bunnies while sharing a sweet message.

“Was scrolling through my phone and came across this photo. Can’t remember seeing it before,” Ben wrote. “Two things: A) I’m so lucky and grateful to be married to such a lovely, smart, kind and wonderful person B) why is there a skunk in the picture? Happy fifteenth Anniversary, Mooch! Here’s to 500 more (I am assuming we will kinda be robots for 400 of those years)”

Melissa and Ben married in 2005 and share two daughters – Georgette, 10, and Vivian, 13.

Melissa McCarthy got a big surprise when she appeared with husband Ben Falcone on Ellen at Home this week.

The 49-year-old actress elaborated on her dream that she had where Mark had just been living with the family during quarantine.

“I woke up and was like, ‘Is Mark Wahlberg downstairs? Because I think he’s in the guest room,’” Melissa shared, adding that “he’s a wonderful roommate.”

That was just moments before Mark appeared on screen, shirtless with an apron on and vacuum in hand.

Later on, Melissa and Ben opened up about volunteering with Frontline Foods, an organization raising funds for restaurants that also provide meals to frontline healthcare heroes.

Ellen DeGeneres, The Masked Singer‘s Ken Jeong, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone will also take part in the Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America concert, People reported.

Previously announced performers include Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Camila Cabello, Mariah Carey, Dave Grohl, H.E.R, Tim McGraw and Sam Smith.

They will all perform from home while social distancing during the one-hour commercial-free special, which “will encourage viewers to support the charitable organizations Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation.”

The concert airs on Sunday (March 29) at 9 p.m. ET on FOX, and will be streamed on iHeartMedia radio stations and the iHeartRadio app.
