Chris Harrison is reportedly sitting out this season of Bachelor in Paradise.
The 49-year-old longtime host, who was embroiled in controversy regarding his defense of a former contestant for going to a plantation-themed party, is being replaced by David Spade, Page Six reported Tuesday (June 2).

Jason Tartick and Dean Unglert are revealing what they were offered by ABC to participate in The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
During an appearance on the Trading Secrets podcast, Jason and Dean revealed they were not paid to participate in their seasons of The Bachelorette with both Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin.

Bachelor in Paradise might actually be coming back in the summer.
Variety says that ABC executives are hopeful that the reality show, and spinoff from The Bachelor franchise, will start filming soon, despite rising numbers of COVID-19 cases in the country.
“We are hell-bent on figuring out how we make Paradise work,” Rob Mills, who is the senior vice president of alternative series, specials and late-night programming, shared with the site. “Unless something horrendous happens, I feel very confident that Paradise is coming back on this summer — how and where it’s going to be, it’s still to early to tell.”
Bachelor in Paradise was unable to film the seventh season in 2020 because of coronavirus restrictions.
While BiP is a top priority for ABC to get off the ground – even if it isn’t filming in Mexico – they’re also looking to launch the senior citizen version of The Bachelor, too.
“In addition to Paradise, the other thing we want to get serious about revisiting is the older Bachelor spinoff,” Rob adds. “We’re actively working on making it happen.”
Right now, Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor is airing and something shocking happened at the end of the recent episode.

The 27-year-old twins made an appearance on iHeartRadio’s Help! I Suck at Dating‘s spinoff show called What a Girl Wants, hosted by fellow Bachelor Nation alums Dean Unglert and Jared Haibon.

The new show promises to give a female point-of-view on all things dating and relationships, and the debut episode features former Bachelor contestants, The Ferguson Twins, who appeared on Season 20 with Ben Higgins and Seasons 3 and 4 of Bachelor in Paradise.
They reflected on Ben’s season and being only 22 years old at the time in the episode, as well as past failed relationships and getting cheated on, as well as finally finding love. They are also joined by their mom in the episode.

Jade Roper Tolbert is getting ready for her third baby with Tanner Tolbert!
The 33-year-old Bachelor in Paradise alum posted a mirror selfie of her growing baby bump on her Instagram to provide an update about her pregnancy.
“21 weeks tomorrow! Starting to see baby’s little wiggles and flips now on the outside of my stomach! 😍😍😍,” she captioned the photo.
“Feeling all sorts of symptoms (my heartburn is wicked and my lady bits hurt!), but always amazed and thankful for this little world I get to share just between the two of us.”
Jade and Tanner already have an 11-month-old son Brooks Easton and 2-year-old daughter Emerson “Emmy” Avery. They announced that they were expecting their third child back in May.

A member of Bachelor Nation, Michelle Money, has tragically revealed that her 15-year-old daughter is on life support after a terrible accident.
“Brielle was in terrible skateboarding accident and is in the ICU on life support. She suffered a serious brain trauma and a fractured skull. She is in a medically induced coma to relieve pressure in her brain. She is in amazing hands up at Primary Children’s Hospital. Please- I am asking for prayers. I believe in the power of communication with whatever God you believe in. The energy of your conscious focus to send healing to my daughter is real,” Michelle posted on her Instagram.
“This is the worst experience of my life. ALWAYS MAKE THEM WEAR THE HELMET. ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK. Thank you to the neighbors who happened to be on a walk and found her and called 911. You will never understand. I would not have found her in time. My heart is forever grateful. Thank you to all of you who have sent prayers and messages and love. Brielle has been through so much already this year. She has proven how strong she is. I know she will pull through. #PrayForBrie,” Michelle added.
